Her Kryptonite

Act1 scene1

Atlanta, Georgia

Seven and Mavericks condo in downtown Atlanta.

Maverick exits the bathroom dressed for his boys night out. Seven is laid up in bed reading a book with her bonnet on.

Maverick: "Babe I'm about to head out, but before I leave I wanted to bring up that thing we were talking about last week."

Seven rolls her eyes before dropping the book she was reading.

Seven: "What "thing" Maverick?" Seven replied knowing exactly what "thing" he wanted to talk about.

Maverick walked over to her side of the bed and took a seat on the edge.

Maverick: " You know what I'm talking about, stop playing. Look I just think this could spice things up in the bedroom for us. Not that we need it, but we're only 5 years in babe and we have a lifetime to go. We don't want our sex life to fizzle out this soon. Our anniversary is in 2 days, if you're not for it I'll understand but if you're open I gotta get it set up babe, so...."

Maverick waited for his girlfriends reply, but soon grew irritated from the silence.

Maverick: "You know what, forget about it," he said while pushing up from the bed. "I'm headed out."

As soon as he reached the bedroom door Seven placed her book down on the bed, grabbing a pillow that was sitting besides her putting it over her head as she said, "Fine, set it up."

Those four words stopped Maverick in his tracks. He turned with the biggest smile on his face and ran back towards the bed. He leaped off the floor on top of his girlfriend showering her with kisses. He got exactly he wanted, or so he thought.
