Chapter 1•the alarm.

Ryoma woke up not realizing he was late for
class. he hasn't been getting very much sleep over the last few days. "Hgh..." ryoma said sleepily. He turned to his alarm clock to find he had over slept and it was currently 11:00 am. "Crap.. i overslept again." He sighed. "I still have a ways to go." He got up and was wearing a blue and white striped shirt. The sleeves were a little big. He also was wearing matching pants.he went over to what seemed like a giant dresser to the short man. "Ngh!..." he stood up on his tippy toes and grabbed his usual outfit. He also grabbed a black hat with cat like spikes.

He walked to the bathroom again,having to stand on his toes to reach the door knob. He walked in and grabbed a step-stool and climbed on top of it to reach the sink. He brushed his teeth. The tooth brush yelled a buzzing sound. (Buzzzz....) ryoma got down and looked down. The chain attached to his ankle reminded him of the horrible time is prison he has had.

He got drowned in thought and heard a knock at the door. Then another. "Hm? Coming.." "what would someone possibly want from a killer like me?" He thought. He stood on his toes and opened the door to find a very tall man. "Must be a student." He thought. The tall student had long, fluffy green hair. "What do you want?" He said looking up at the student.

"Oh!- uh Gonta went to class and you weren't there! So Gonta went to come find you." Said gonta.

"Why do you care?..you don't even know my name.." Ryoma hid his eyes with his hat a bit.

"Oh!" Gonta pulled out a sticky note that had a bunch of names on it. "Your name is Ryoma Hoshi?"

"Tch.. yeah. That's my name." He chuckled a bit. But it was very dull.

Gonta looked into ryomas eyes. They were very dark and...empty. "W-well Gonta will see you later!!" He then dashed off.

"Woah! Hm." Ryoma said watching Gonta run off to class. "I guess I could go out for a bit..." he thought. Ryoma grabbed a coat and scarf. He wrapped the scarf around his neck. The scarf covered a bit of his rosy cheeks. He put on the sorta big jacket and was on his way.

"I "guess" his name is Gonta." He chuckled a bit to himself. He was soon in the lobby.

"Nehehe!~"

Ryoma sighed. "What do you want Oma?.." ryoma turned to the slightly taller male.

"Nehehe!!~ I need to tell saihara-kun that your somewhere other than your dorm!!~" oma then ran away yelling Shuichi's name.

"Even someone like me needs fresh air.." he said under his breath. He reached into his pocket and grabbed a packet of mint cigarettes. He had a weird liking for them. He popped one into the corner of his mouth. "Mm." He walked out of the school building to then feel the crisp,moist autumn air.
He was then walking into a little coffee shop....
