Part 7

This isn't so bad after all.

Na isipan ko naman e contact si Deanna but I was savoring this moment of peace.

And besides, kung sinong umalis, sya ang matutong bumalik.

I'm done chasing people.

But that was a huge mistake on my part.

I was left alone with my thoughts.

The more I thought about it, mas nagiging logical para sakin na tapusin nalang talaga yung relationship namin ni Deanna.

This didn't happen overnight. And it's definitely not just because of the food delivery na pinag awayan namin.

No. It's something deeper.

I just couldn't admit to myself that I don't feel any assurance from Deanna anymore.

I wanted it to work so bad so I lowered my standards just to fit Deanna into it.

Uggghhhh I'm so tired of overthinking so I called Kyla to get some outside perspective.

"Bahay ng mayaman. Ang maid po ito. Ano pong atin ma'am?" bungad nya sakin.

"Loka ka talaga!"

"Haha bes naman di na mabiro! Ba't ba kasi napatawag ka?"

"Bes, I just need your honest opinion on something"

"Okay??"

"Basta no holds barred ha. Kahit friends tayo, I need you to be brutally honest." sabi ko sa kanya.

"OO na nga. Ano nga kasi?" pangungulit ni Kyla.

Then I explained to her what went down between me and Deanna. Not just our last fight but all my doubts na rin about our relationship.

"You know what bes, you should've told her right away when you started having issues with how she's behaving. Like masinsinang usapan that her behavior is a deal breaker for you"

"Akala ko kasi bes I can just put it aside kasi napapasaya naman ako ni Deanna"

"Bes, no matter how much you try, you can't deny in your heart the level of maturity and assurance it takes to make you happy. Kahit isantabi mo yan, hahanapin at hahanapin yan ng puso mo."

Nanahimik lang ako kasi tagos na tagos sa puso ko yung sinasabi ni Kyla kaya nagpatuloy sya.
