Into The Third Level

We all went to sleep and the boat kept floating.

Nathan: I'm hungry and it sucks eating fruit all the time. This looks like the ocean so there must be some fish down there. I'll dive and see if I can catch something with my knife. If there is any danger I'll use my wind magic to speed swim back up.

I dived into the water and looked around. Everything seemed calm. There were fish of a variety of colors that the eye could see. I thought that not every part of this level was dangerous. I caught some fish with my knife and went back up. I was worried that the blood might attract sharks so I hurried on up. I never took of my rings. At any moment there could be a battle.

Garrison: Now we got the fish. Aren't you forgetting something?

Nathan: And what is that?

Garrison: Where is the fire Nathan?

Nathan: The fire?

Garrison: To cook the fish.

Nathan: Wow! I must be really dumb.

Garrison: Don't worry. We can save the fish for later.

Nathan: I've been meaning to ask you about the rings. So these rings are normally found in this cave?

Garrison: Yes the rings are only in this cave. There are two S class adventurers with rings, you have three of them, and the rest might still be in this cave. The thing is that not everyone that is powerful becomes an adventurer. Some become dictators of nations, some serve kings, and some even try to become gods which is tabooed. Now there is you. Your choice is to become a hero. Now that is why I follow you. Not only because you saved me, but because of your mission.

Nathan: Stop it man, you're making me blush.

Garrison: Awkward! Woah something just hit the boat.

Nathan: Man overboard!

Garrison: Wait did Saber fall off?

Nathan: I'm just kidding. It looks like one of the sharks survived the rubble earlier. Don't worry I have a plan. Saber will freeze the water, when the monster shark jumps out, then I will shoot it with my arrows. While the arrows are launched, then you can enlarge it with your growth magic.

Garrison: Aye! Aye! captain!

Nathan: Saber freeze!

Part of the ocean was frozen and the monster shark fell for the plan. The monster shark is green in color and many dented spots from the rubble. This must be a true warrior for it to swim this far for revenge. The plan worked and the monster shark started sinking. I dived into the water and sliced one of its teeth with my wind magic. I then dove back up. I was going to use the teeth to make arrows. The stupid map did not mention monster sharks so we added that in there. We furthered in and then we hear singing and I was shocked to see mermaids.

Nathan: Their singing almost made me dive into the water when we got closed to them. Wait Garrison why did you stab one!

Garrison: These are not friendly creatures Nathan. These are sirens. They lure men into the sea and drown them to eat them. You see. You kill one and the others run away.

Nathan: Why weren't you affected by their song?

Garrison: The tune only affect those whose hearts still shine some light. It will take some time for mines to heal after the torment I went through.

Nathan: Thank you Garrison. I really mean it. Now you have saved my life.

We came to the end of the ocean to another shore of land. We got off the boat and made our way onto the land. We had cleared the third level. Now onto the fourth level. I nicknamed the third level Water World. At the time I did not know this, but deeper in that ocean was a shark so dangerous not even 100 mages could defeat it. It was called the ancient one. Once we stepped onto the fourth level we were met with a heat wave.

Garrison: It's so hot in here I could cook an egg on the floor. Wait drop the fish on the floor.

Nathan: Wow it's really cooking. Let me pour some fruit juices on them. Thanks for the meal!

Garrison: Thanks for the meal!

Nathan: Here Saber eat some too. Make this one large for Saber.

We ate so much till our bellies were full. We decided we were going to take our time exploring this level.

Garrison: I hear footsteps approaching us. Be on guard.

Nathan: Way ahead of you.

Stranger: Food!, food!, food!

Standing in front of us was a girl with jet black hair, a yellow suit, yellow shoes, brown eyes, and an athletic build.

Ajagara: My name is Ajagara. Thanks for the food. I was starving. I'll guide you on the fourth level as my way of showing thanks.
