But of course, as she was travelling at night, it got relatively hard to see. Thankfully, it wasn't long until she met her second pokemon, Soulflame, the shiny litwick! Now together as a group of three, and Soulflame being an amazing light for the dark path, they set off once again.

But, of course, Kodu being, well...Kodu...he hated Soulflame's guts. Soulflame tried to get along with Kodu, but it just wasn't gonna happen.

Anyways, continuing down the line, things weren't the easiest. The group lived in almost complete isolation, only passing through civilization if it was along their path. There were ups and downs to this. The ups were that they were bonding well. The downs were that they ran out of supplies quickly.

Oh, and another up would be the third team member joined. Welcome, Shard the Feebas!

They continued along their way, sometimes having to fight some Team Trickroom grunts here and there. It was getting harder, however. You see, Kodu, Soulflame, and Shard weren't in sync with each other. They tried, they really did, but they were all just on different beats. That made some battles only won because of dumb luck. But they kept going!

Another thing out of dumb luck, because it doesn't seem physically capable yet, is that Soulflame evolved into a lampent, and then Alex found a dusk stone and evolved her into Chandeulure! So uh, there's that!

Oh yeah, and Alex realized she was having an easier time training Shard than she was Soulflame and Kodu, and realized she probably worked better with water, ice, and flying type pokemon. So, what did she do next?

She proceeded to catch a seel. And that seel's name was Goose.

And then she caught...wait, what?! She caught a cosmoem?! How did she even find that in the wild- well, I guess, welcome to the team, Dazzle.

And then she caught a growlithe. But the growlithe isn't important. What's important is what she did with the growlithe.

So, imagine some really sketchy guy walked over to you while you happened to be at your monthly pokemon center visit, you can't even see this guy's face, and he's just like... "Hey, you there, with the pink jacket. Mind trading your growlithe there for this mystery pokemon?"

Would you accept the trade offer? A perfectly good growlithe, for a mystery pokemon that could potentially be anything. Do you risk it?

Well, she did. What was there to lose when you already have a feebas? And what did she get in return? Trinity the Azelf. Yup, that's right. This sketchy guy just gave her a mythical pokemon...for a growlithe.

Now with a team of six, Alex continued on her way. The team is starting to get along great.. mostly. They're all oh so very loyal, but there is one minor problem. They're all insanely aloof. Every one of 'em.

But thankfully, Shard evolved into Milotic, and so, travel by water began. They started travelling through rivers as their main mode of transportation, simply riding on Shard's back.

Things went on nicely for months, and finally, after some crazy luck, Kodu must've gotten rid of the everstone he'd probably eaten or something in the past, and evolved into a darmanitan! Life was great...

...Except for the fact after months of travel, and wanting to explore the world, Alex realized she'd actually never strayed too far from home.

Now, after months, and her journey beginning to come to a close, although she still had a bit more to do, Alex reminisced on all she accomplished.

The hardest pokemon she'd ever fought without catching was a lileep. Dazzle evolved into a Lunala. She encountered a legendary pokemon in the wild. How that legendary was weaker than the lileep, I'll never know. But now came the most difficult task she'd ever have to face.

She was walking through town, when some of her old high school friends who'd left on journeys ran over to her, and asked that she'd help them take down Team Trickroom for good, seeing as she had a decent team and experience against them.

Alex agreed, and together, they took down the evil organization that was called Team Trickroom. But not without great loss.

Kodu is Alex's strongest pokemon, most definitely, but he is...emotionally distant. All the pokemon are worried about him, Soulflame especially. They try to comfort him and include him in things, but to no avail. But is it really a wonder as to why...
