Duskwings are small dragons. They have a similar build to the Nightwings, but are smaller and slimmer. They have straight horns and wings that are shaped for more agility and speed.
Duskwings' scales are never a very light color, usually ranging from grey to dark-black. Some dragons have some dark-blue or dark-purple scales scattered around. Their underbellies tend to be a shade darker, or a shade lighter than their scales.
Their eyes can be any shade of green, blue, orange, or purple, but is usually a darker shade.
They have spins running from their head to their tails that are usually darker than their scales. Their claws are also darker. However, their horns are either darker, or a light-grey/white.
When they are old enough to join a squad, they are given bands that match that squads color. But until then they have one white band wrapped around one of their shoulders. Squad leaders have two bands, second in command has three bands, and the general has four.
Many Duskwings have pets that they get from the main continent.
