Tales of a fallen knight

chapter 1

Let's begin from the start of my story. 
Hello my name is Raven a human born man, I well was born human I know it's weird huh. But I was once a mere human child once I was born to a family of knights, My family had served our king for hundreds of years. my family was well known for making outstanding knights, by the time of writing this I've just turned 37 I know I'm old but the year is.... seems I can't remember what year it is my sense of time isn't what remember, It to be but enough of this you came here to hear about my story not just about me. 

the sun had just started to rise it was on a warm winters day during the rule of king Luka the IV's 5th year of ruling when I was born. by the time I could remember I had a small amount of Magical power, I had been learning to use a sword by the age of 6 I had helped Forge my first sword at the age of 8. By my Tenth birthday I had joined the knights school, they didn't care about your family's background or rank. as long as you where able to be of use to the king you where accepted, sure it helped being part of a family of knights you where put into courses that would make you into a commander or royal guard. But me I wanted to be a knight commander I wanted to feel my blade slicing though peoples body's and hearing the roar of battle. I trained like a man that couldn't be broken I accepted challenge after challenge, then it all went black by the time I could remember again I was 19 turning 20 my body had changed.

My body had become prefect I don't remember how I got to this point but Magic Gates did pop up every now and again. "huh seems I've grown" Raven said a little confused but not really phased by it, Raven noticed he was standing in the middle of a field atop of a hill with the ground slightly burnt around him, he then looked around then noticed something he was outside the walls of the city of Kurbish. Kurbish is the last name of the king who had founded this Country. "Kurbish When did I go so far North" Raven quietly said to himself as he heard the rumble of hooves and the refreshing clanging of armour rushing up the hill towards him, Raven while not knowing what to do took this time to do the normal thing to run and take cover as it would be stupid to stand out in the middle of a field with mounted knights and foot knights rushing towards him. 

"WHERE IS IT!" shouted one of the mounted knights as Raven was hidden in a forest not far from them watching them. "FAN OUT! I want that thing fround" shouted the same mounted knight. "thing I'm no thing" Raven said to himself while taking this time to again run. After about an hour of running naked he had come across an empty shack found some somewhat well fitting clothing put them on and made his way towards the City and disappeared into the crowd.

Almost a week went past Raven survived by killing Bandits and thieves, Taking what the Thieves' had stolen and returning the items to the owners at a price and claiming bounty's on bandits. Raven soon found himself in the hands of the knights. "What do you think you're doing" Raven said to the knight trying to drag him away "Sir I'm going to need you to come with me" the knight said sternly, "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what you're thinking about grabbing me" Raven said with a slight laugh. "Sir I'm taking you in as a enemy of the king f-f-for being a spy" The knight said starting to shake a little as Raven just smile at him "You a lowly footmen is going to take me in? by yourself" Raven had started to laugh looking at the man "S-sir I'm going to ask once more for you to come peacefully or I'm going to call for more guards" The knight soon understood what he had done as Raven grabbed the knights arm and started to squeeze as he started to crush the knights arm though his armour. "Let me show you just how little you understand boy I'm a trained Knight While you, You're just coming out of training" Raven said with a smile while the single knight started screaming in pain as 3 more knights soon came around to see what was going on as they saw one of there own slowly being brought to his knees by a single man "HEY! UNHAND THAT KNIGHT!" The commander of the three knights yelled at Raven as he charged in Taking his short sword out. "Well that's a bit unknightly of you Drawing your sword on a unarmed man now isn't it" Raven was still smiling but let the knight go as he kicked him to the side. "Just who do you think you are, you've just made the worst mistake of your life by injuring a knight inside of a city where you have no escape" the commander said while looking at Raven who was Dressed in only light leather armour at this time with chainmail under it "You're telling me that right there was a knight one of this country's men sworn to protect this city and county" Raven said as he pointed at the knight that was on the ground passed out with his forearm clearly broken "if you come in peacefully you might get off lightly" the commander spoke as one of his men ran off to get more men to surround Raven. "Lets be honest here if I give myself up I'm not fully up to date with this country's laws just yet but last time I checked it was either a duel with the knight's commander or death by hanging" Raven still had his smile looking at the knight's commander "That's right your choice you can pick now or wait in your cell for the duel" the commander said keeping his eye's locked on Raven as 20 fully armed knights showed up and surround Raven and the commander "Fine have it your way if I win I take your place as knight commander or I can walk away and your knights never bother me again" Raven said as he walked over grabbing the knight's sword then threw the knight at his fellow knights. 

"I'll take it you want the Duel Sir, before we start this Duel what do I call you" the commander said as he readied his sword "You can call me Raven, Raven blackheart from the house of blackheart" Raven said as he spun the sword around then readied himself. Raven soon after looking the commander up and down then lunged at the commander slamming his sword into the commander's sword who had swung at raven trying to end this in a single strike "is that all" Both said at the same time as the duel carried on for 10 more minutes before the commander soon fell on his knee duel to raven striking him with the flat part of his sword to the commander's head "I've seen Children with more fight then you and you're a commander" Raven said looking down at the commander followed by kicking the commander's chest knocking him down with the commander knocked out the other knights soon started to mutter to each other not knowing what to do as one knight kneeled down and bowed his head to Raven soon more knights all bowed there head's to Raven as he had earned there respect and Loyalty.

"Those who don't wish to kneel are free to follow this weak commander but you'll all be lead to your death's by him" Raven said picking up the commanders sword looking at it then dropped it knowing it goes against his code as a knight to take from a fallen Knight "Guess we shall be heading to the barrack's and get myself set up" Raven said as 17 knight's followed raven quickly behind raven throwing down there old swords that had the crest of there old knight commander.
