Chapter 24: Horus

"Aren't dogs supposed to like humans? What a cynical little mutt" Polnareff says

"To me it sounds like you have a soft spot for Iggy" I say

"I do not! I hate that stupid dog!" He yells

"Right, right. I'm so sorry" I say giggling

"Jotaro, make her stop, aren't you two dating anyway?!" Polnareff whines. Me and Jotaro's eyes go wide

"Oh here comes the denial" Joseph mutters

"You two" Avdol says scolding Polnareff and Joseph. My face heats up as Jotaro's slightly turns pink

"SHUT UP!" We both yell. Polnareff covers his ears

"Too loud" He says

"I don't care, don't say stupid things like that" I say embarrassed. Jotaro nods

~Time Skip~

It was now almost sunset. Joseph was looking at his watch

"Hey, the sun's about to set" Joseph says looking at Avdol

"Despite how confident that beggar sounded about finding Dio's mansion from the photo within three hours, it looks like he was wrong" Polnareff says. Eh, Avdol?" Polnareff asks

"It's occurred to me that it might be better if he didn't find it. It may be that he did find it, and that's why he hasn't returned" Avdol says

"Hey" Polnareff says

"There could be a stand user that prevents people from getting close to the mansion. It might have been too dangerous to ask that beggar to find the mansion for us" Avdol says

"Hey, now" Polnareff says

~Time Skip~

We were now walking around

We haven't seen Iggy in a while

"That Iggy! Where did he go? He's gotta stop making trouble for us" Polnareff says

"I'm worried. We haven't seen him for quite a while" Joseph says

"That stupid mutt!" Polnareff says. Jotaro suddenly turns

"What's the matter, Jotaro?" Joseph asks. He doesn't respond

"Is someone following us after all?" Avdol asks

"No, I thought I heard a voice calling for us" Jotaro says

"A voice?" Joseph asks. We then see Iggy limping towards us. My eyes went wide as I rushed to his side

"I-Iggy?!" Avdol asks. I pick him up and pull out my stand to heal him

"Iggy!" Polnareff yells rushing to him

"What in the world happened?" Avdol asks also rushing over. I finish healing him

"I don't know, but he's lost his leg. That's not something I can fix" I say

"D-Did he get run over by a car?" Joseph asks

"He's not the kind of dog that gets into car accidents. You were attacked by the enemy, weren't you, Iggy?" Avdol says

"Someone treated his wounds, which it was done quite well" I say

"It wasn't Iggy's voice. Someone was calling to us in human language" Jotaro says

"It appears that Iggy had a run-in with the enemy" A familiar voice says. We all turn to see Kakyoin.

"I saw a boy holding him as he lay dying. The one who treated him is a doctor from the Speedwagon Foundation. Just like the one who treated my eyes" Kakyoin says. Joseph took Iggy from me

"Y-You're.." Polnareff trailed off

"Kakyoin!" We all yell. Polnareff rushes to him

"It's Kakyoin! Hey!" Polnareff says as he puts his hand on his shoulder. I run over and shove Polnareff out of the way

"I get the first hug" I say as Polnareff hits the ground. I quickly hug Kakyoin. He hugs back as everyone crowds around him. We both let go

"Kakyoin, are your eyes okay now?" Avdol asks

"I'm glad you're all safe" Kakyoin says

"It's great to see you! Have your wounds healed?" Joseph asks

"Yes. I'm fine now. It left a few scars, but my vision has completely returned" Kakyoin says

"That's good to hear" Joseph says. Kakyoin and Jotaro shake hands

"Jotaro" Kakyoin says. Iggy jumps out of Joseph's arms

"Hey, Iggy. Where are you going?" Joseph asks. Kakyoin puts his sunglasses on

"Iggy, who had no interest in humans or stands, is apparently trying to lead us somewhere. I'm not sure what happened while he was fighting the enemy's stand, but he seems rather angry about how much pain he endured" Kakyoin says

"Just where is he trying to lead us?" Joseph says following him

"Hey, Iggy, hold on" Polnareff says running after him. The rest of us follow

"Th-That car. It's the luxury car that beggar was riding in. Th-This wreckage is" Joseph says

"What did this? There's a huge hole, like something gigantic pierced it" Polnareff says

"It's just as I feared. I knew I shouldn't have asked him" Avdol says

"Is this the work of the stand user that Iggy fought?" Joseph asks

"It seems there can be little doubt" Avdol says. Joseph then turns

"Iggy!" Joseph says. We all continue following him. We felt something in the air

"Hey, what is this? I'm in a cold sweat all of a sudden. This overwhelming oppressive feeling. Where is Iggy trying to take us?" Polnareff asks. That's when we all saw the building in the photo

"I already know. This atmosphere is.. This dark sensastion..." Joseph trailed

"Th-This mansion is.." Avdol trailed off

"The one from the picture" Jotaro says

"We're finally here" I say

"Who would have thought you'd be the one to find it, Iggy?" Polnareff asks

I can't wait to watch this stupid man crumble before our feet

"In other words, if we beat the crap out of Dio right here and now, it will all be over" Jotaro says

"He's here. There's no doubt about it, this presence is his. He's inside this mansion right now" Joseph says

"Which means that we..." Avdol trailed off

"Have finally..." Polnareff trails off

"Reached the last stop on our journey" I say

"Are you ready?" Joseph asks. The gate was open. We all walk through the gates

"Just as I can sense his presence, he is aware that I have arrived. Entering this mansion carelessly would be like being swallowed by the enemy. Now, what to do" Joseph says. The door suddenly opens

"The door opened! Watch out!" Joseph says. We all begin walking towards the now open door

"Hey, look at this corridor. I don't see any end to it. It's not real, is it? It's soke kind of trick or illusion, right?" Polnareff asks

"Polnareff, don't go through that door. We should see at least one or two stand users before Dio" Joseph says. We all watched a man float towards us

"What the?! Something's coming! Who is that? Is he a stand user?" Polnareff asks. He stops and floats at the entrance. He then bows

"Welcome. Master Joestar, we have been awaiting your arrival. I am the butler of this mansion" The man says
