Hi, well let me first say thank you for reading this story. You are awesome. :) Well i have written short stories since 7th grade my teacher told me to write and write, and I did. :)

_Chapter Two_

[Eli]

Her name was Isadora Thompson, a quiet girl. Her light blonde hair danced on her shoulders every time she walked. The only thing I couldn't stand was that she was human.

Human. A living breathing human.

That was the major thing I couldn't stand.

My sister switched the station in my car, her choices change very quickly. Sarah really isn't my sister even thought we are related. Sally was born in 1920's she's my  cousin from my fathers side.

"Ryan is a stuck up idiot." My sister said looking at me.

I had an girlfriend. I kept thinking that, she loved me. My sister squeezed her eyes at me. "Who's Isadora?"

I sighed." My partner for this project, she is Ryan's sister as well."

Sarah looked back at her window, keeping quiet for a very long time which wasn't a hood sign. It meant more questions were coming at me. Sarah never liked my girlfriend, the reason was she was the daughter of a famous demon.

Being a demon had it's ups and downs. We had super powers almost like hero's, but the bad part was we had no soul. Sarah had the power run faster than a puma, she once ran 700 miles in two minutes.

My power was seeing the future and the past. We lived with Lori, our demon mother who was very powerful herself. Lori could tear a human apart with her bear hands.

"Is she coming over isn't she?" Sarah asked, crossing her arms.

I gave a nod.

Sarah huffed. "What will Princess Tina think of her coming to our house?"

The truth was I haven't thought of what my girlfriend might think when Isadora comes over. I was planning to tell her as soon as we got home.

"Sarah, would you mind if I drop you off at Gregg's house?" I asked stopping the car."Cause I need to pick up some supplies for our human coming over. You know like food."

Sarah unbuckled her seatbelt. "I will just run home, I'll see you later." Sarah got out in a flash she was gone I did a U-turn and headed towards the nearest supermarket.

I brought enough for her. As I was driving home I saw Isadora walking, her book pack seemed empty. I couldn't believe I was about to do this. I honked at her she looked up as I drove up to the curb next to her. I rolled down my window.

"Need a ride home?" I asked her, she seemed unsure her brown eyes full of sadness. I wonder if something happened after I left her.

"No, I'm okay." She answers with a smile. "My brother offered me a ride as well."

I sighed."Are you sure cause it's no problem for me. Plus it's gonna rain soon."

She looked up at the sky it looked dangerously grey, than back at me. "You sure it won't be a problem cause if you had  to be somewhere-

"Isadora it's no problem at all."

She said okay and climbed into the passenger seat, as she buckled her seat belt I went back on the road. I kept thinking about Tina. Why didn't she call me yet? She always called me after school.

I was thinking so much about I didn't hear what Isadora said. She looked at me, waiting for an answer.

"I'm sorry what?"

She made a small smile. "I said you can take Jefferson, than turn two blocks east. If you would like to take the shortcut."

"Ooh, sorry I was thinking about something." I said with a sad smile checking my cellphone as we came to a red light. No calls.

"Is everything okay with you and your girlfriend?" Isadora asked brushing a strand of her hair back.

I put my cellphone back in my pocket. "No."

"My house the light blue on the left." she said as we started to pull into her street. She thanked me for the ride as said she would see me at school tomorrow. I waited til she went inside he house to drive away.

On my way back home, I pulled along side the road taking out my cellphone calling Sarah. It rang twice, than she answered. I asked if Tina called, she said no. Sarah asked when I was heading home I told her I was on my way.

I pulled into our driveway, Sarah came out leaning against the door.

"What?"

She sniffed me, taking a step back. "Are you cheating on Tina?"

I snorted laughing as well. Sarah crossed her arms." You smell like that human Eli, Tina is inside the house she just came over. And you smell like humans. Plus her father is here."

Rolling my eyes at Sarah. "I gave her a ride home it was about to rain Sarah what was I suppose to do? Let her get wet."

Tina came out. "Hey baby." she said hugging me but she quickly pulled away. "You smell."

"Tins, I gave my english partner a ride home." I explained, waking towards the house as they followed me in.

Tina looked worried. "I don't like other girls in your car Eli."

I stopped. "I don't like how you pressure me into marrying you. I said I was gonna marry you. I guess life isn't fair huh?"

Sarah looked between us, she could see that there as tension in our relationship.

Tina's father came into the living room, he stopped seeing Tina and I a little far apart. He came to see how his precious daughter was, we had a quiet dinner than him and Tina left.

I went inside my room, laying on the bed as I thought about Isadora. Of course I didn't want to cheat on Tina in fact I demise cheating, I will never be that low.

But Tina was pushing me over the edge with the pressure of marriage over my head and being a demon was maybe too much for me to handle.

Sarah knocked on the door I turned over. Sarah came inside my room. "Okay, I know you love Tina with all your heart but she's being a total bitch."

"That's kinda mean isn't it Sarah." I sighed getting up from the bed." I feel so pressured by Tina it's like she thinks I'm gonna leave her tomorrow."

Sarah leaned on the door frame. "This Isadora, you like her or something?"

"No, but she is so calm, I can be myself around her."

Sarah nodded and left the room. I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep.
