I had fallen asleep during our ride. As I woke I looked down at Beatrice, who was fast asleep herself. I then looked around, it seemed we were coming to a landing on what appeared to be a castle. It looked to have been abandoned for quite so time as grass and other vegetation had grown over it. The crow loosened its talons and we fell onto the castle below. "Ouch! what's going on?" Beatrice said as she went tumbling toward a tree. "I believe we are here." "So you mean we actually made it? Just then an unfamiliar voice spoke, "well would you look at that, two children are our newcomers. Welcome to the the land of pain, regret, and undead." So we really are in Lordran." Beatrice said. "You there lad, you bear a striking resemblance to the man who last came by here." "Do you know which way he went?" I asked. "Just over that way towards the elevator that leads towards the parish." We began to head towards the elevator. "Hold it before you go there is something you should be aware of, this land is teeming with creatures known as hollows. They will attack you on sight so be on your guard. Also with the sudden appearance of demons, well it's enough to scare even the most daring adventurers away. I know it scared me, and now I just sit here on this pile of rubble. Hahaha! quite pathetic if you like about it, but don't let the words of a Crestfallen Knight scare you off. Go on you just might find what you are looking for." "Thanks for the advice, let's go Beatrice." We approach the elevator and Beatrice stepped on the tile that activated it. When we got to the top we were in a church of sorts. There was a statue of a women towards the back. Suddenly we heard a loud crash coming from the other side of the church. I looked in the direction of the noise and say to people fighting what appeared to be serpent men. They had on weird armor with a helmet that looked liked a over sized onion. I didn't want to stick around so we headed out of the church and over a small bridge. When we crossed it, we came to a staircase that lead downwards. As we went down I heard this hammering noise. When we got to the bottom of the first flight I saw a small bonfire. Something compelled me to go over and touch it. "Hey Oscar are you okay?" I put my hand near the bonfire and it lit. It's flame felt so welcoming, it actually felt like home. I couldn't really explain the feeling at the time. Then I noticed a small flask of orange liquid next to it. I picked it up and observed the contents of the flask. I couldn't tell what it was I'd have never seen anything like it before. I decided to take a sip of it, it didn't taste like anything however I felt my strength return to me. I picked up the remaining four and we continued down the next flight of stairs. When we reached the bottom we say a old man sitting next to a anvil, hammering away at a sword. He looked up from his work and then he spoke, "Well what do we have here, how yall folks doin, the names Andre. After we introduced ourselves he turned his attention to my sword. "Well I'll be damned I haven't seen that sword in years. In fact I made with my own two hands." I knew I had heard the name Andre before, he was the name of the blacksmith who made my sword. "So how's the old blade coming along eh?" "Well I have gotten quite good with it." "Well it's nice to see yer like it, in fact your father came by here not too long ago." "Do you know which way he went?" I asked. Towards the forest that way. "Thank you." "Hold on a second, Oscar there is something you should know. That forest is filled of very dangerous monsters and even worse people, just be prepared for what you might see in there." What could that mean I thought to myself. I just tossed the thought aside and continued into the forest. When we got inside I felt the whole atmosphere change. The air felt cleaner and the sounds of the creatures,in the forest were the only thing I heard. It felt quite peaceful in fact. I had no idea what Andre was talking about. The delusions of an old man I thought. I began to make my way through the forest as Beatrice frolicked about behind me. Before long we came to a broken down castle that had trees growing around it. As Beatrice was observing a flower that glowed with a mysterious white light, I saw a corpse against a wall. As I got closer to it I could see it had the armor, of a Knight of Astora on. The corpse looked to be fresh with a deep cut going across the chest. Next to it I say a letter on the ground. I picked it up and began to read, " I'm sorry to ask you this all of a sudden, but this undead problem is getting out of hand. Many have tried, but this chosen undead has still yet to be found. Who knows if this person even exist. That's why I ask you a decorated Knight of Astora, become undead, travel to Lordran, and end this nightmare." I dropped the letter on the ground and stared at the corpse, my heart was racing. Could it be? I went to remove the helmet and when I did, I was greeted with a familiar face.Fa.... father?
