Her name was Beatrice, quite the unusual name. I could tell she wasn't from around these parts. I helped her stand and asked her if she would be alright to continue on her own. She replied yes and I began to leave. I still had to find a way to get to lordran. I was making my way home, when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and Beatrice was there behind me. I stared at her confused, she was blushing. After a few seconds of silence she spoke in a low voice, "Um so what are you gonna do now?" I hesitated a bit, then I replied " I was just going to find out where this feather came from." I showed her the feather and her eyes widened. "That's from the crow!"she said excited. "What crow?" I asked. It was unusual to hear of a crow in these parts. Most of our domestic animals were killed off after the fall of the dragons. "Well, my mother told me once that there was a huge crow that carried these things called undead to an asylum in a land called lordran." "Can you tell me more"I hastily asked. "The crow only appears to undead and travels all over the world"she said. I then knew if I wanted to get to lordran I had to figure out everything I could from this girl. I must have lost track of time as the sun was starting to set. "Do you have any place to go for the night?"I asked. "Well I'm not from these parts,I'm actually on a journey to hone my sorcery skills." "Do you parents know of your departure?"i asked. "I left home without telling them when I was 7, it's been 3 years since then." A girl of this age traveling at such a young age, surely luck had to be on her side."Well it's decided, why don't you come home with me?" I suggested. I knew my mother wouldn't mind, she had been longing to discuss sorcery with another person, as there weren't many here in Astora. She was hesitant at first, but then replied yes. When we got back to my house, my mother happily invited Beatrice inside and while she helped my mother prepare supper I practiced with my sword. It was one of my favorite pass times as a child. After supper my mother went to bed and I asked Beatrice more questions about this crow. After a few bits and details something she said really caught my attention. " I do know a few locations where the crow stops from time to time, I've seen it on my travels sometimes. In fact I just saw it last night carrying another man." Do you know which way it went? I asked. "To the south why do you ask?" At that point I was already packing my bags getting ready to go. "Hey where are you going"?! "I have to find that crow" I said. "Tell my mother I'll return shortly." At the time I didn't really mean what I said, I didn't know when I'd return, but that didn't matter now I had to get to lordran and find my father. I walked out of my house, and started to head Southwards. "Hey wait up!" Beatrice yelled behind me. " I wanna come with you, besides it'll be a great chance for me to work on my sorcery." I stared at her for what seemed like a long time, but then I felt a smile come to my face." Okay let's go." I said. I didn't know how this would turn out, but I did know this would be the start of a wonderful friendship and a amazing adventure.
