It was a bright and colorful day in Mondstat, the sun just peeking over the clouds collecting just along the skyline. People were already busy at work, cleaning windows or watering the flowers they took so much pride in. Birds sang their lovely songs, encouraging the hard work that kept Mondstat great. Lisa gave a deep, relaxed breath as she gazed out the library's window. It didn't have to be noon for Mondstat to be at its peak. Since no books were overdue and no one seemed to be in a hurry to borrow any, watching busy people scurry is one of Lisa's favorite pass by, and this was her favorite window to do so. The double-paned glass now collects sand and dust along with its corners, tattered and shell-shocked with unforgiving gusts of wind. It was these windows that shielded Lisa from the fierce winds that once blew with Davlin's rage that now blow with change and Dandelion seeds. The sweet smell relaxed Lisa. She closed her eyes gingerly, giving a long exhale.

Lisa was snapped from her thoughts when she heard a door creak open, it straining in protest. These doors, I need to have someone oil them. She shook her head. Opening one eye, she discovered who had opened the door. Grand Master Jean was now standing a couple of feet away from the door, standing straight with a warm expression on her face. Lisa smiled. The company of Jean was always a pleasurable one. Any company now was a treat. She had offered the traveler and their strange companion an afternoon for tea, but they kindly refused. Lisa wanted time to get to know this traveler and their real intentions. No one can be trusted these days.

"Good morning, Lisa." Jean smiled. Lisa smiled back and turned her entire body to Jean,

"Good morning..." Lisa started, then noticing the ancient door once again, furrowing her eyebrows and pressing her lips together,

"'Make sure to close the door behind you." Lisa gave a small point to the door, her expression softening. Jean straightened her shoulders quickly and closed the door behind her,

"Excuse me.." Jean stumbled. Lisa interrupted her, her hand covering the laugh she couldn't seem to hold in,

"No it's alright-" Jean was cut off, "I've just don't like the warm air getting into the Libary." She rested her arms on each other, but not quite crossing them. Lisa decided crossing her arms was bad body language. , "I like it when it's cold." Jean smiled and played with the whisps of hair falling out of her ponytail,

"I do as well." Jean agreed. Lisa smiled again, without her teeth this time. Jean laughed lightly to herself, staring at her shoes. She looked up once again, her blue eyes locking with Lisa's,

"I've just needed a break." Lisa nodded sympathetically, "I understand! Everyone needs a break once and a while. You of all deserve one the most. You work so hard, Jean. We all truly appreciate it." Lisa expressed to Jean. Then she finally realized how tired Jean really looks. Her hair was bunched and tangled, whips of blonde sticking out wherever it was possible. Her once beautiful blue eyes were now more of a bland stormy gray bagged with dark red circles. She smile seemed forced and droopy. Lisa squinted her eyes in sadness. Jean meant a lot to Lisa, and she cared about her health. Mental and physical,

"Are you sure your feeling alright?" Lisa asks Jean. Jean smiles,

"I'm fine, I just need a nap." Lisa crossed her arms,

"Go take one, I'll ask Amber to take care of your moring duties-" She tried to advise before Jean cut her off,

"Oh! No need. Everything was already taken care of. I just came in to ask you something." Lisa raised an eyebrow,

"Ask away."

"You know that boy, Razor? He wanted to ask you something." Lisa knew Razor. He was sweet, and he truly meant well, but when you were raised by a wolf pack it's hard to get that across. Lisa nodded,

"Is he here?" Jean nodded,

"He's currently with Amber." Lisa let her eyes wander around the library,

"Alright, invite him in. I have nothing planned today anyways."  Jean smiled and opened the door again,

"I'll send him in, do you mind if Amber tags along? I have nothing for her to do today...is that alright with you?"

"Of course"

"Alright, I'll send them both in."

----

Around twenty minutes passed before a knock on the door made Lisa jump,

"Ms. Lisa? May we come in?" Amber's familiar voice echoed outside the library's door. Lisa rubbed her eyes and took off her hat to put it back on again. She quickly fixed her ponytail, adjusting the position of it on her shoulder.

"Of course, Amber. Just a minute..." Lisa answered, muttering the last part. She sat up from the comfortable armchair she had taken a quick nap in. Power naps were Lisa's secret to a perfect day. Even ten minutes of quick shut-eye can refresh the entire body. That and a cup of green tea. (She saves the tea for rainy days) Amber opened the door slightly, peeking her head through the door to make sure she wasn't interrupting. Lisa smiled,

"Come in, cutie." She reassured Amber. Amber gave a warm smile before opening the door completely. Razor was indeed there, slouching slightly with a blank expression on his face. Lisa gave Razor a quick smile. Razor nodded curtly, giving nothing away. Amber's eye darted to Razor's bland face then to Lisa's,

"I'll leave you two be." Before she closed the door again, Amber called out,

"See you later, Ms. Lisa!" Lisa nodded, her eyes never leaving Razor,

"Good morning, Razor." Lisa offered warmly. Razor kept blank,

"Hello." He said quickly,

"Jean said you wanted to tell me something." Razor nodded, walking towards Lisa,

"Razor..." He paused as if he forgot the right words, "Razor like Bennett." Lisa nodded. She knew Bennett. He was known well throughout the knights...For good and bad reasons. (Mostly bad, but Lisa did not want to hurt the wolf boy's feelings) She had seen Bennett and Razor walk around Mondstat together, smiling and laughing...well it might've just been Bennett smiling and laughing but Razor seemed to be having a good time too. Lisa seemed to know where this was going. Razor continued,

"Bennett speak, Razor-" He paused again,

"Razor don't speak as Bennett speak." Lisa raised an eyebrow,

"You want to talk like Bennett? Do you want to learn more English, Razor?" Razor's expression brightened as he smiled,

"Yes! Razor wants that." Lisa smiled

"Alright. I'm sure we can figure something out." Unexpectedly, Razor engulfed Lisa in a large hug. His face buried to the side, just above her cleavage. He wrapped both his warms around the side of her. His warmth was unexpected, and it felt good. Lisa placed a hand on Razor's head, rubbing it slightly,

"Thanks, Lisa." Razor chirped, still deep in the embrace,

"Your very welcome, Razor." Lisa responded, placing her head on his.

They stayed in that position for a long time before Razor finally had to leave.
