One day (y/n) was walking to the phantomhive manor to visit Finny and you noticed that he was crying so you walked up to him and asked him what was wrong. He looked up into your (e/c) eyes and when he did you noticed that there were tears in his eyes. He told you that he was feeding the birds in the garden when they flew away. When he saw them fly away he started sobbing because he loved feeding the birds and that they were his friends. He didn't like that his friends flew away. You told him that it's okay and that they will come back tomorrow. So when you came to visit him the next day he was in the same place in the garden just crying so hard that you went up to him and started comforting him and you asked him what was wrong and he said that his bird friends didn't come visit him and that he was really sad that they didn't come visit him. You told him that it was okay and you would help him look for his bird friends. When he heard that he stopped crying and was happy that you would look for his bird friends. While you and Finny were looking for his birds you found them up in a tree sitting on a nest. You told Finny to come here and you told him that his friends were up in a tree. He climbed up the tree and when he did he saw a family of birds. The birds had babies and they were ready to fly. When you came to visit Finny he was really sad. You asked Finny why he was sad and he said that his bird family flew away. When you came by the next day you told Finny that you had a surprise for him and he wanted to know what it was. When you handed him a cage with a blanket over it he was curious to know what was inside. When he took the blanket off he saw it was a beautiful bird. You told him that this bird in his new friend that he can have. When he heard that he was going to keep the bird that you had bought for him he was so happy that he started crying and he gave you a big hug. And from then on you and Finny visited with each other every day with his new bird that he had named Fluffy. And that is how Finny got his new bird friend.
