Finding home

Prologue

        As the humans fled, us animals hid where ever we could. A bright light a percing noise, exploded from the center of the city. Buildings colapsed the ground shifted, leaving endless holes. Most of us died, crushed to death or falling for ever...

        BUT this is not some sad sappy tail oops! I ment TALE sorry im not to good with my human... I would be better at speaking it, but sence there all dead or gone. Sorry not a sappy tale, right so where did it start oh yes..

        It was a cold snowy day i had just finshed my rounds, trying to find food or animals with no luck... I curled up in my make shift nest my almost den, i slowly fell asleep. I jumped to my paws and looked around had i really slept that long its already daylight, with a fresh powder of snow already laid i shrugged. "I might as well go hunt" I meowed before i relised i was alone.

        I padded along the leveled and distroyed city, the snow crunching down under my paws. I peared over part of a fallen building, my eyes locked onto a patch of brown fur that belong to a hare. My mouth watered it must have been days sence i had last ate. I smirked and leapt at the hare, but as soon as my paws conected with the hare it vanished. A white blizard of snow started swirling around me. Whats happening?! i thought, the blizard parted and a misty figure of a cat stepped throught. The furgre who i had guessed was a she-cat by the way she walked she was now standing frount of me. The blizared closed back up swirling around again, i growled "Who are you! Whats happening!"

        "It doesnt matter, right now you need to wake up... There coming..." she meowed softly and wistfuly

        I meowed "What who?!" The she-cat melted away with the blizard. I slowly felt sleepy and fell to my side. The word was spinning and i passed out.

        "Hello.." I heard a cat meowed i gasped waking up, then jumped to my paws. 

        "Who are you?" I barked hesentntly was this the cat, the figure was talking about... No the figure said there comeing...

         I shook and looked back to the small she-cat as she meowed "Uh im Flicker you are..?"

        I shuffled my paws and barked looking at her "Uh im Flash..."
