I have also been getting really good at gymnastics. I'm currently at level 8 and get almost perfect scores on beam and bars. I'm not as good at vault and floor, I always fall. Cooking has been my newest hobby because making dinner is my chore. I made mac and cheese bread bowls last night.

I still lie awake in bed at night wondering if I will see them again tomorrow. It's been 4 years so I doubt it. It hasn't all been good though. Mama and Papa treat Kayla and Brenden better than me. For example they get new clothes and toys and I just hand me downs. When I came home with straight A's last month I got a pat on the back, Kayla got $20. Isaac even got $20 and he had all b's. They also never miss Kayla and Isaac's games but they never come to mine. I especially fell less loved when papa hurts me, its never as bad as it used to be but sometimes he grabs my arm rough and yells. I just brush it off since I know making a big deal will only make him madder. But what do I expect from the man who told me I was worthless for all those months.

What an average day looks like.

Chloe's pov

I roll over in bed with my alarm ringing in my ears "I hate morning" I laugh

"Same" Kayla smiles and drags me out of bed "come on, ugh you're so heavy."

"Or maybe you're just weak." I smirks "little help" I was laying on my back with my upper half off the bed (a/n this has happened to me so many times but I usually land on my head)

"Let's go see what mama has made for breakfast" she helps me up and we run down stairs.

"I made pancakes." mama holds up a huge plate of steaming pancakes, but I smell smoke to

I look behind her and see the pancakes she is cooking are on fire "fire, the pancake is on fire."

"Shit" she puts the plates down and dumps a glass of water on the burned pancakes "thank you Chloe for catching that."

I nod. When I lived with mom and dad people were always lighting things on fire so I got used to it. "These are really good, what's the occasion you never make pancakes."
