Brown eyes, black hair and the sweetest smile. Always wore a headband to keep her flowing short hair back. Lived in a simple house in Sokovia, together with your brother and father.

It had been 10 years since you lost your mom, but you remembered every detail. You had been lucky enough to have escaped right before the explosion, but your parents and brother had been crushed by the falling debris. The last you ever saw of them before being taken away by police was their hands, sticking out from under the rock. The tears that came could have flooded the Earth. Everything you had was gone because of the people who wanted war.

Now, here you were, cozied up in warm blankets in a soft bed. Tony had made sure of this, and he made sure to treat you like his daughter. He had taken you in under his wing when he saw that you were an orphan with superpowers. Of course, being taken in by Iron Man also meant meeting the rest of the Avengers. Steve, who was your closest friend and Captain America, was there for you when you needed him.

You got up from bed and got dressed, going downstairs to see that everyone was already having their meals and chatting. You sat down beside Tony and he dumped a piece of steak on your plate. "Eat up." He says, then continues to discuss something with Dr. Banner. Being the youngest of the Avengers along with Peter, you don't talk to anyone at all. After you're done with your meal, you return to your room and realise you're craving ice cream. You take your phone and a small bag with you, then go out of the Avengers compound to buy some.

Strolling along the street, you enter the convenience store. Your favourite ice cream is on sale. "Yes!" You whisper, quickly pulling out a bill. When you step outside, you're caught by surprise when someone puts his arms around your waist from behind. You turn around and see a middle-aged man with a cigar in his mouth staring at you. You yelp and try to kick him away, dropping your ice cream on the ground in the process, but he locked your legs in place, and was kissing your neck. You wiggled and squirmed to get away from his firm grasp. You were just about to scream for help when suddenly you felt the man being yanked away from you. You turned around and saw a young man in a jacket pushing the middle-aged man away from you. He kicked his butt as the man ran away, then turned around and looks at you. "Are you alright?" He asks with a soft voice. He's wearing a cap, long pants, simple jacket and shirt, along with gloves on both hands. "Hold on." He says as he walks into the store and comes back out with an ice cream. You stare at him in amazement. What a gentleman. You take the ice cream, still shocked. But just as you're about to thank him, he turns around and walks away. Staring at his back as he walks away, you decide to head home as well.

When you return home, you take a nap and wake up in the evening. You go to the main living area and see that it is empty except for Tony, Steve, Sam and a stranger sitting on the couch.

"Oh, y/n is here." Steve says, excited to see me. You push your fringe aside and say, "Hey guys."

"I want you to meet my friend, Bucky."

The stranger turns around and stares at you. His face you had seen before, but not his hands without the gloves. His right hand was normal, but his left hand seemed to be made of metal.

"Oh, we've met before, haven't we?" Bucky gets up from the couch and sticks his hand out for you to shake. "The name's Bucky."

You stare at him and shake his hand, eyes fixed on his face. "y/n."
