Understanding is only the beginning .. [Sequel to YTYU]

::The gang's ALMOST back together::

“I see you didn’t deny being called my girlfriend though.”
Her cheeks turned bright red again and I couldn’t help but chuckle while Christina simple rolled her eyes.

“She’s going to be helping us with however she can, so she stays.”

“Fine.” Christina said as she rolled her eyes again, “I got in touch with ‘Alicia’s’ real mom, and she’s going to be flying down here on the next flight, along with her sister.”

“So who’s the real mom?”

“Breuanna’s sister.”

“So she stole her sister’s child?”

“Basically. I went to college with them before I dropped out  when I lived in Arizona, one of them got pregnant, the following month after the baby was born, both Breuanna and the baby were gone. The weird thing was that while her sister was pregnant, Breuanna was admitted into a mental institution because she, well attacked, many of her teachers for her poor grades, and even attempted to kill one. How she managed to keep out of jail, I don’t know. I’m surprised she kept her real name, but changed the baby’s name. She’s probably been buying things under another name though. “

“But now that she’s been in the media, wouldn’t that mean that everyone knows where she is now?”

“Well I don’t know about that. Where we lived, not everyone could afford cable often, and well news never travelled fast in our little town.”

“I don’t think this is news that’s going to be missed.”

“Well now that I’ve called Breuanna’s sisters, I’m sure news is beginning to travel.”

“But how is this going to help Ellanae?”

“Well, the woman who is blaming her for kidnapping is actually a real kidnapper herself. But we need to find a way to prove Ellanae and Jacob aren’t guilty, someone who can help solve problems.”

“Leave that to me.” I said as I began to smile.

::The next day::

“Latimore?”

I opened my eyes slowly to see Jasleen hovering over me.

“Someone’s on the line for you.”

I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up on the bed.

“Huh?”

“Here.” Jasleen said as she handed me the phone, “You know it’s after three in the afternoon right?”

“I was up all night brainstorming.” I yawned.

“Mhmm, answer whoever’s on the other line.”

“Hello?” I said as I pressed the phone to my ear.

“Latimore?”

“Hey.”

“We’re here.”

“All of you?”

“Yeah.”

“Already?”

“Well, we’re short of two, but they’re coming down a little later to help out.”

“Alright well, you wanna meet me here? Or go check on Ellanae and Jacob?”

“Which do you suggest?”

“Go check on them first, see what you can find out.”

“Alright, we’ll check you later.”
