Punch (aka The NCT College Baseball AU)

Foreword

What's up, reader? This fic was inspired by  NCT 127's baseball version of the dance practice to their song "Punch" because they look super good in baseball uniforms and it was a whole vibe. I started writing this a year ago and I thought it was time to finally post it to the internet for others to (hopefully) enjoy~

 I have a few things to note before you start reading~:

-The writing style consists of a mix of SNS chats and prose bc I love writing chat fics...but I also love writing regular prose! I don't advise skipping either the chat or prose chapters because the story runs in chronological order from chapter to chapter--exactly how it is listed in the table of contents~

-The chapter titles that contain emojis indicate chat chapters!

-This is based in the United States of 'Merica but most of them are Korean American, so there will be use of some Korean words

-Mia Lee (my OC) is Mark Lee's older sister by 3 years

-I changed the ages around a bit so that they could all be in college together so don't @ me

-In terms of who's in what grade, here's a list:

Seniors: Mia, Taeil, Seulgi; 

Juniors: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Ten, Doyoung (Dongyoung), Kun, Kang Daniel;

Sophomores: Jaehyun, Jungwoo;

Freshmen: Mark, Haechan (Donghyuck), Jeno, Renjun, Jaemin

-I didn't change Jaehyunnie's name to Yoonoh bc I just didn't 🤷🏽‍♀️ even though I did change some of the other members' names to their legal names

-Mia, Taeil, Johnny, Doyoung, and Kun have been friends since high school

-Doyoung is not on the baseball team but he's definitely in the fic...again, don't @ me!!! I have nothing against him; that's just how I wrote it~

-Taeil is a student manager for the team, although he played during his earlier college years

-The rest of the baseball team consists of several Seventeen members but they're not important to the story so they're not really in it

-This is absolutely a silly harem story about my OC, haha! It's even mentioned in the fic because I thought it was funny

-I flagged this fic as "mature" because although there's no sexual content or violence, there is some swearing and underaged drinking!

I think that just about covers everything that I needed to put in context! Idk how well received this will be because I'm not comfortable with writing in second person and using "Y/N" but I thought this would be a fun little read (not so little bc I've written a lot so far lol) to upload.
