Most people say the same thing about how to tell if someone likes you. And everyone of them failed to mention what I discovered today:
If someone likes you, they will not look at you, they literally watch you, your every movement.

So basically, imagine how you look at someone you like like. It's like that. You don't just look at them, you watch them.

Also, look at their expression when they are surprised to see you. And you'll just know.
