It was Valentine's Day, and Percy decided to go to a flower shop. He picked out some Roses and Daisies, Annabeth's favorite flowers. After paying for them he went to the store to get a Valentines card. After choosing one out, paying for it, and writing in it, he went to see Annabeth. He walked through a familiar path of the Graveyard. He sat down next to Annabeth's grave and laid down the flowers. He read the card to her. He talked for a few hours about how he missed her and how the other Demi-gods were doing.
Though he still blamed himself for letting her die in Tartarus, Jason and Grover had been constantly telling him that it wasn't his fault. "Percy, she had to," explained Jason. "One of you guys had to stay back to close the Doors of Death, on Tartarus' side. And bro, you know that you couldn't stay back, you had to help us on... Earth." "NO! I DON'T CARE IF YOU GUYS NEED ME HERE, I SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE WHO DIED, AND ANNABETH SHOULD'VE LIVED!" Yelled Percy.
He laid down next to her grave and started crying. "Why... WHY?" Screamed Percy. "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE? I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU! WISE GIRL, Y-YOU PROMISED MY THAT WE'D BE TOGETHER. YOU PROMISED!" Still in tears, he got up. Looked up at the sky, and started to blame every god for Annabeth's death. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.
