Chapter 7

~Rein~

I was sweating and my heart was pounding. Sir was calling out the names of ever person to get their test paper and I was nervous when most of my classmates groaned from failing the test.

"Sir Borris" He called and I got up from my seat and went to him to take my paper. But when I held it, he said softly "Don't be happy with your score just yet"

I nodded and went back to my seat. Puzzled at his words, I looked at my paper and was shocked. My score was 83/100. This was the highest score I have ever gotten in math in my entire life.

"Now we'll discuss the answers" he said and started to explain but I wasn't listening. I was still in shock from my score to even hear sir talking about the test. I mentally told myself to thank Rose and make her do what I want. After all, this could change for the better or the worse.

During break, I searched for her to show her my score but I didn't see her anywhere. I sighed and remembered thay there was no tutor sessions until next week.

"Rein! Pick one" Mia, our class president said as soon as I entered the classrrom the next day. She had a paper on each of her hands. On her left hand was a paper with a scetch of a vampire costume on it. On the right had a sketch of a devil.

"Uh, what is this for?" I asked

"Did you forget? The annual school festival starts in 2 weeks. We don't have classes remember?" Mike said coming near me

"Oh yeah" I sais remembering. The annual school festival was a 3 day event and every class had to do a shop and the class who has the most visitors gets a prize. I remember that our class won last year and the prize was a 3 day lunch tickets for any free food we wanted.

"So what are we doing this year?" I asked placing my backpack on my desk.

"A haunted house!" The class exclaimed with excitement. A haunted house, huh? It seems exciting and this could give me some time scare people. I wonder what Rose's class is doing?

~Rose~

I entered the room and saw that people were bustling and moving everywhere instead of sitting down. Rather I should be late but there is no teacher around.

"Rose!" A girl called and I recognized her as my seat mate, I think her name was Sarah

"What's going on?" I asked

"The annual school festival" she said dragging me away to where the class was. They were all talking about doing a café but I didnt really care.

"How about a cosplay café?" One suggested

"Yeah. It will be fun to do" another agreed an eventually the whole class agreed. I sighed and just listened to them talk. This was partly why I transfered thinking this school was different but apparently, it still has school festivals.

"Ok. I placed papers of characters in a cap. All of you pick one" Sarah said and we all grabbed one. I opened mine to see that it was 'the ice queen'

"Ha! The Ice Queen picked herself" a girl laughed who was behind me. Her friends laughed as well but it didn't really piss me off. I continued to look at them with a blank stare until they felt awkward, due to my lack of emotion, and stopped laughing.

I listened to them talk until I got bored and left the classroom. Since there was noclass, I might as well find something to do. I slippped on my headphones and went outside. Seeing as it was blazing hot, I stayed under a tree near the bridge and sat there. Taking out my sketchpad, I started to draw
