Prologue: Hope

It was a dark and stormy night in the country of Galancia and on this night there was a boy born with a strange marking on the palm of his hand. The mark was known as the golden dragon, because it was a golden tattoo in the shape of a dragon. The parents of this boy feared for their sons life if the king should find out about the mark. So the boys parents fled the country with there son to a country called Balaton. The reason they left is, because the king declared that any one born with the mark would be killed. The boys name was Jormondor which meant hope in the old language. The names of his parents are Artarius and Faith. His parents taught him many things his father taught him how to fight with a sword, a spear, and a bow. His mom taught him how to read and write in the old tongue as well as the common language.
