I still remember that weekend in May. That weekend when we first met, that weekend that once held perfection.

I was walking to the HMV store to purchase a new album to listen to. I quickly scanned the rows of music to find a specific one that I had recently got obsessed with, Green Day American Idiot. I found it in one of the aisles and happily brought it to the front desk to buy it.

I walked out of the store, into the warm Australian air, trying to open the CD, when I bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry I wasn't watching where I was going!" I exclaimed. I looked up only to have my green eyes meet the most beautiful blue eyes anyone could ever imagine.

"Oh, no it's fine! I wasn't looking either." He smiled, and motioned to the iPhone in his hand.

He had a strong Australian accent that I also noticed that made my knees go weak, just at the sound of it. He bent down to pick up the CD I didn't notice I had dropped.

"Green Day?" He asked, smiling as he handed it over to me.

"Thanks. And yeah, I'm kinda obsessed." I answered, shyly.

"Really? Me too. They're my favourite!" He answered excitedly.

We suddenly started to sing, in my opinion we were screaming, out the lyrics to American Idiot.

"DON'T WANT TO BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT! DON'T WANT A NATION UNDER THE NEW MANIA. AND CAN YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF HYSTERIA? AND SING ALONG TO THE AGE OF PARANOIA!"

After we finished, we broke out into laughter. I had to grab my stomach because of how hard I was laughing.

"I'm Luke," he answered after a long moment of laughing, yet we were still giggling. "Luke Hemmings." He introduced.

"I'm Collins Woodley." I said back, in between giggles.

He just kept staring at me with his deep blue eyes I later fell in love with.

"What?" I had asked, smiling at him.

"It's just, I've never met a girl who was into the same music as me before. And a beautiful one as well." He answered.

I felt my cheeks getting warm and instantly knew I was blushing. I looked down at my boots, before returning to his gaze.

"We should hang out sometime" He said.

"Yeah we should," I pulled out my phone and pointed at his. "Let's exchange numbers, so I can text you." I took his phone and gave him mine, and quickly punched in my number. I took a quick picture of myself, and he did the same, to add a contact photo.

"There." We handed back each other's phones. I still don't know where I got that courage from, since I was never that good with "socializing", but it sure served me well.

"Well, see you around. Collins." He smiled as he started to walk.

"You too. Luke." I answered back, smiling, as we continued to walk our separate ways.

I saw her. I actually saw her. It's been so long too. And she's changes, I know it.

I hate that day in October that took me away from her in the first place. But mostly, I hate the stupid thing that I did.

She's probably never going to forgive me for putting her into danger, and she's probably scared of me now. To be honest, I never forgave myself. I bet she's still confused about that night, about my disappearance, heck I'm still confused about it myself!

From this point, I know as much as she does.

I began to relive the series of events that happened on that horrible October day.

"C'mon Luke, I need to be getting home. It's already past midnight and past the time I need to be back at." She complained as we walked to my car.

"Alright, alright. I'll drive you home." I laughed.

We were just coming back from a party that was at my friend's house.

"That was some sick party that Calum had, huh?" I asked her.

"Hmm? Oh, yeah it was pretty fun." Collins isn't much of the party type. But that's okay, she means the world to me and I respect her likes and dislikes just as much as she does to me.

Her soft humming was all that was keeping the rest of the ride in silence. Personally, I hate it when people hum. I don't know why, but there's just something about it. But not her. I don't mind her humming.

God, was she beautiful though. I could never stop staring at her, and those eyes, those bright green eyes she has, you could get lost in them forever. And her long blonde hair, which is naturally brown, that I sometimes play with, twirling it around my fingers, I could do that all day. I didn't realize I was staring at her, until she suddenly screamed with wide eyes.

"Luke! Look out!" I slammed on the brakes but I was going too fast.

The car flipped sideways, tumbling us on the street I barely missed that car I almost hit. My body had gone numb and I couldn't feel anything, and I couldn't think anything. But I could still hear, and I heard her.

"Luke! Oh my gosh, Luke! Wake up!" I heard her sobbing.

I felt her shaking me, hard, trying to break me from my unconsciousness. And she never gave up either. I heard the distant sounds of sirens coming closer and closer and her constant calls of my name. That was the last thing I remembered that night, before the darkness engulfed me. Or at least I think it was.
