The Neighbor Story

First night

So I knew I had a new neighbor. Magkatapat kami ng unit. Nagkasabay kami sa elevator once tapos bumaba kami same floor. I was unlocking my door, when he said:

"Hey! Are you the guy who plays RuPaul?"

"Yes"

"You sing too, right?"

"Yes"

"You have a great voice."

"Oh. Thanks." 

Anyway, he was really attractive but I'm an awkward person. I had a deadline for a project and I ended up losing internet. So knocked on his door, in the middle of the night, to ask if I could connect to his WiFi. He opened the door shirtless and in boxers. I just stood there.

I asked him if I could connect to his WiFi and he was still sleepy but he grabbed my phone and put the password in and then he smiled then closed the door. I went back to my unit and realized that I needed to connect to my laptop. So I knocked again.

"Hi. Okay. I need to connect via my laptop."

"Ah. Okay sure."

He writes the password on my arm.

"Thank you!"

"Night!"

I walk back to my unit and type the password in. I hear a knock. It's him.

"Hey. Do you wanna just to use my desktop? I don't mind if you stay in my unit a while."

I notice he is wearing a gray hoodie now.

"No. I'm good. It's code, so..."

"Right right."

We stand in silence a bit.

"Well, if you need me, you know where I live!"

"Yeah." I point at his door.

We laugh in the hallway.

He goes back to his unit and I go back to work.
