The bills had been piling up. Jesse had just lost his full time job and was barely scrapping by working part time, and using the little bit of cash he had from graduation. He didn't know how much longer he would be able to keep up with the rent, he knew two missed payments it was all over.
Jesse had missed last months bill and needed to make sure he paid this one so he didn't lose the place. He just didn't have the money for it. He had just filled his car with gas yesterday so he could make it to work. So when the bill came in he was frustrated he threw the bill towards the bed and pulled on his hair.
An hour passed and a green hand with long, scaly fingers pushes the bill towards Jesse's feet. With the bill, was a thick wad of cash that would cover the bill. Jesse looked under the bed and was shocked at the sight he had discovered.
