"Hey." I smile, trying not to sound too surprised or excited. "I didn't even see you there."
"Yeah, um, I was just trying to do some writing. Then I heard Holly's name and saw you with your camera and just wanted to say hi... so hi." he says, sounding unsure of himself as he continues to talk. Like he's embarrassed to be telling me this.
He takes his bottom lip between his teeth quickly, looking at me. He looks even more handsome during the day. If only he would take off those sunglasses so I could see how beautiful his eyes looked in the daylight. I'm sure they're focused right in mine.
There's a quiet moment before Holly decides to speak up, "We were about to head to lunch, do you have any recommendations?" she asks.
He nods, still facing me. "Yeah... Um..." he starts before turning to look at her. "How about I take you guys? If joining you guys isn't an issue?" he asks.
Elias makes a sound as if he's about to respectfully decline, but before he could, I speak up. "It's not an issue at all. We would like that."
Holly nods quickly behind me. "Yeah, lead the way." she agrees.
Harry smiles, showing his teeth before looking down at his notebook. That bashful smile just starts up the fluttering all over again.
We begin walking again, this time Harry walking in the front, next to Elias. Holly and I stand behind them, silent with our eyes on Harry. They're talking about what type of food we're looking to have for lunch and he's thanking Elias for letting him join them. He's so polite.
Elias can be a bit stubborn when things don't go his way. He likes what he likes and has a hard time changing his mind. He's also super protective over Holly and me, so he probably doesn't like that some random guy is joining us for lunch, famous or not.
I don't care though. It's fun to look at him.
Harry brings us to this little hole in the wall. We probably wouldn't have even seen it had it not been for Harry leading us right to this spot. He opens the door, letting us inside, a smile breaking out across his face as I pass through the door.
"Thanks." I say quickly, a matching smile creeping across my own face.
The restaurant blows me away. It's not fancy at all, but it's just beautiful inside. It reminds me of a secret garden almost with foliage all over the walls and ceiling and strings of lights making zig zags across the whole restaurant. It's tiny in here, but it's perfect. It's the kind of place you want to remember for the rest of your life.
"Table for four please." Harry tells the hostess, who seems to recognize him. He must come here a lot if he even knew this place existed.
The hostess nods, grabbing four menus before leading us to a table in the corner. It's half a booth and half a table. Holly and Eli rush into the booth like little kids, leaving Harry and I to sit in the chairs. Harry doesn't seem to mind though since his back is toward the rest of the public. I don't mind either since I'm sitting next to him.
"This place is really nice." Holly says, picking up her menu.
Harry nods, "Yeah, I found it a while back while I was in London. I figured you guys would find it cool. The lunch menu here is great too."
I pick up my menu to read and look at him, "Thank you for taking us here."
We smile at each other before both breaking away into our menus. There are a lot of good options honestly, but I'm leaning more toward the Chicken and Avocado Melt. The picture of it looks amazing on the menu.
This all seems unreal still. Like I'm gonna wake up any minute back in the hotel room in the bed with Holly. It's not every day that you find yourself having lunch with someone famous.
