On the evening of April 2nd, 1962, a man named Charles McCue woke up to the sound of the bustling New York City. The only issue, was that it was around 4-5 AM, way before he was supposed to wake up. He grumbled, and got ready for work. It was an annoyance, but he quickly shrugged it off. Charles was born in Michigan, but he moved to New York in his early 20's. His plan was to get a career as a musician, but that quickly went nowhere, so instead, he decided it'd be best to put his dreams behind him. He greatly enjoyed his job, yeah, but it still was bitter. He felt a sense of emptiness, so while he was working at the typical clothing store he worked at, he just left. He found himself driving to Michigan, to see his parents again? Maybe. He didn't know, but he eventually did go to his parent's home to see it entirely empty. He was confused, as they were in their mid-8o's. He paid it no thought, and let himself in. Eventually, 5 hours passed, they were still gone. He tried finding them, but found nothing. He went to the police station, but it was empty as well. In fact, everything seemed empty. It was cold. He was alone. He was afraid. Everything in the small town had a blue hue to it. He eventually entered a hotel. The doors locked, and he was stuck.
On every TV in Michigan State, the news reported: "Breaking: Small town resident, previously thought to have ran away found dead with his fingernails broken and bloodied, eyes black, face sagging, and largely decomposed." His parents were distraught, and ended up killing themselves days later by walking slowly into the lake and dying. Eventually, everyone in the town was overcome with this horrible sadness, and walked into the lake as well.
This eventually came to be known as The Blue Hell incident.
