Happy Birthday to Me (Book 1)

Chapter 1

This is the only chapter in the book. Sorry bout that.

I knocked louder and louder. We planned this day for so long.

Inpatient I reached for the door handle and it was unlocked. I opened the door with caution. When I stepped inside it was dark. I saw what looked like ink on the floor. I saw claw marks on the walls. It was strange because they were near the ceiling. I heard my friend call my name quietly. She pulled me into the entryway closet. "Is this a joke?" I asked. She looked at me with the same look she had when we nearly got robbed. Fear. "Why would you think that? I'm not joking" she whispered. We heard a sound almost like footsteps. She covered our mouths. Outside the door I saw it.

It looked like Felix the cat. I looked at my friend puzzled. Felix loved people. Why would we be hiding? What I thought was Felix walked away disappointed. "That looks like Felix," I said. My friend started crying. "It's not him. His name is Cartoon cat.". I was so shocked I always brushed it off as a hoax. Then a cartoon hand stretched past the door. I helped my friend crawl up to the shelf above us and we hid there. About four hours later he gave up and left. I Got down and turned the lights on. I held in a gag. "What's wrong"....

Okay okay I'll tell you how we got here. My friends: Skyler, Breeze and Jane had asked me if we could hang out on my birthday. My name is Willow, let's get up to that point.

I walked up to Skyler's house.

"Sky you here." I shouted

"Yea hold on" Sky replied

Skyler walked out of the house. Sky is a 6ft 10in boy, compared to my height which is 5ft 2in. I call him tree. Thinking back I'm happy he wasn't there.

"You okay Willow" He crouched down to my height

"Shut up" I said, blushing a little. "Lets go."

We met up with Breeze. She kept taunting me about my crush. Sky looked at Breeze and muttered.

"What was that Sky" Breeze said still looking at me

"I said leave him alone, it's his birthday soon."

I looked around. Looked at my phone,

"Jane should be here" I said worried

Sky sat down next to me

"She'll be fine, Jane can take care of herself."

After that day we agreed to meet up on my birthday.

(2 days later) I went to Jane's house this time.
