Cold. All you felt was cold. The icy snow hitting your bare skin like needles.
When your small tent in the middle of the woods was invaded by hunters you knew you couldn't take them on by yourself. I mean 1 against 5 is not a fair play. Especially with you having zero to no training in the fighting category. So you ran. Your fluffy, snow covered tail behind you blowing in the wind.

Flying past the thick tree forest you see a abandoned looking castle on a hill. Deciding that you should seen shelter as soon as possible you head in the direction of the weirdly creepy castle.
Now near the hill you tilt your head upwards to admire the size of it. It looked way shorter from afar.
'Well all that I can do is go up' You think to yourself.
Climbing up it on all fours, you reach the top very exhausted.
Although the feeling of pride and accomplishment is coursing through your veins, you can't help but feel a weird scent of dread and blood.
' Must be because I'm tired' You think to yourself as you step closer to the big door of the castle.
Knocking twice you wait in silence only hearing the gusts of cold wind around you.
Your head begins to pound, vision going in and out of a blurry mess, legs shaking. Hearing the creepy creak of the door near you pass out on the cold snowy path leading up to the castle's doors.

Your eyes still closed you can hear pages of a book being turned. After a few seconds of listening you open your eyes, somewhat expecting a nasty creature to jump out.
But no. You look to the right and see a tall, pale woman with a huge hat sitting in a beautiful chair encrusted with gold details, reading a book.
Looking around the room you notice the sheer luxury. The sheets you were laying on were silky smooth and soft. You haven't felt something so soft in your entire life before.
Suddenly the woman looks up to meet your gaze with her glowing golden eyes.
You search for any anger or disgust but you can't seen to find any.
"You've finally awoken, my dear. " - a cooing, soft voice says.
"I was beginning to think you weren't going to wake up, what is your name, pet? " - the tall lady asks.
"Mine is Alcina Dimitrescu, but please refer to me as your Lady or Mistress" - she adds.
" Y/n, my Lady " - you stutter out.
"Beautiful name, darling. And say, why did a pretty thing like you come to my castle? "
"I- I was running away from my home, I'm very sorry for causing you trouble I- I thought it was abandoned" - you mutter out trying to refrain from crying.
"Hmm, if you don't mind me asking, why did you run away?" - she asks softly.
" I don't mind, my tent was attacked by five hunters, I couldn't really defend myself. So I decided to run. "
" I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you ended up here. You are very welcome to stay. I actually have a job for you if you feel like earning some coins. "
" What is the job, my Lady? "
" A maiden. Your duty would be to serve me and my daughters as well as clean the home and prepare dinner. "
" Alright, I want to work for you, my Lady"
"Very well"- she says with a wicked grin.
