The burning hot water splashes over my face. My short hair grew about an inch due to the weight of the water. The water would probably burn a human, but me being a vampire made it harder to hurt me.
My mascara streaked my lifeless cheeks. What can I say? I'm a vampire. I lust for blood. That's what I feed on. Can I help it? No, not really. But I'm good at hiding what I truly am. I look fairly human. There's only one person.. vampire.. who knows what I am. Gray. He has the most wonderful personality. We get along exceptionally well, and I personally have a little thing for him. I like him. I lust after him, and I want him to be mine.
I had many scars on my body. From all the victims I fed on. They had to fight back in some way, right? I was stabbed in the neck 3 years ago. The man barely missed my voice box. But it still hurt like hell. It just didn't kill me. Silver kills me. And holy items. Like crosses, bibles, holy water, that stuff. But lucky for me, he only used a stainless steel knife. The rest of my scars were from people just scratching me, or cutting me with sticks, or whatever they could grab.
As I massaged my short, slick hair with shampoo, I got an idea. A cabin getaway with all my friends. Summer was coming up, and maybe this was my chance to get Gray.. and all of us have wanted to go somewhere for the summer together. This was the most perfect idea.
I wanted to stay under the hot water spraying on me, but I needed to tell everyone the idea.
I step out into the misty air of the bathroom. The thick air swallowed me whole. It was hard to breathe in the hot air, so I wrapped a towel around my naked body and opened the door out of the bathroom. I lived alone in a 2 bedroom apartment, and worked occasionally with my parents at their liquor business. It's pretty well-paying, so I'm able to get my nice, modern apartment.
I can feel my lungs expand and contract as I breathe in the cool, thin air. I have a master bedroom, because I'm the only person here. That means I have the bathroom attached to my room.
I walk over to my wardrobe, and drop my towel. I search for the perfect outfit. I settled on a fake brown leather skirt, and a dark blue turtleneck that hid all my scars on my arms, but on the other hand, the ones on my legs showed. I went back into the bathroom, and blow dried my hair. I straightened it, then put makeup on my pale face, and brushed my lashes with mascara. My face looked a little less pale now that it was a shade darker. I grabbed my concealer and smeared it on my scars till they were covered. I blended it out to match my legs which were freshly shaved.
After I was all ready, I snatched my phone, and texted everyone: cabin getaway? be over soon to discuss everything. xx
I was overjoyed with this idea, but there was a problem.. Who would I feed on?
