From an eternal slumber
Aroused by hunger
With shaky steps along the path
Fumbling blindly with closed eyes
Through the doors in search
Hands reaching out for the found chalice
Eagerly grasping it's stem
A sip of the immortal nectar
Thus begins the internal churning
A humble taste of cold brew
That powers the mind
That steadies the path
That leads to the awakening
