If only you knew

That he was using you.

He wanted you for a bet

So into your heart you let him.

He didn't text, he didn't call.

It was lost, yes, it was all lost.

The water streamed,

Your heart was creamed.

Tears flowed free

Your legs like trees.

They were firmly planted

The boards you're on slanted.

You are not good

You feel stood up.

He said he'd meet you

Stuck to you're seat you are.

He didn't come

You saved him some.

He promised you that he would.

Then he called and said he couldn't.

He tried to make it

All you did was sit.

You made no moves

Your friend tries to sooth you.

You are stuck with guilt

It has only been built up.

He makes you weep

All tears must seep.

Through his clenched fists

Your heart only twists.

You wait for a sign

While standing on a line.

You are between two sides,

Each is pulling you like a tide.

A wave of guilt runs

Your life was made of puns.

It was all a joke

He ony stoked the fire.

His girlfriend lied

And she spied.

She knew something was up

But she knew he wasn't a love sick pup.

He acted like he loved you,

But then he got a new girl.

He said you were his only one,

He was already done with her.

You cried but it didn't help

He was just a litle whelp.
