They stared at eachother intently; the look of love and desire pulsed through their veins, butterfly fingers touching everywhere imaginable withought removing any clothing, sending them into a state of ecstacy.
His bright blue eyes were glued to her coffee brown-they held nothing but love. He leaned in nervously. He never loved someone as much as her. Those love filled orbs that held nothing back,sun-kissed skin, the polar opposite of his pale complextion, and a smile that alwasy seemed to make his day. He feared he wasn't good enough for her, she was perfection.
Making contact with her lips, he rejoiced as she returned it with full force.
She loved the man before her. He was everything she was not: he was funny, protective, charming, a gentleman, intellegent, sweet, kind, goofy, easily excitable, comforting, serious, and strict. No one ever made her feel like this way: her heart would beat rapily when he was around, she would stutter and stumble with her words, find peace in his embrace, fall in love with him all over again when he smiled-she was wrapped around his finger and didn't mind it in the slightest.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing them closer, deepening tehir heated kiss. Breaking apart was the hardest thing they had to do but they both needed air. The blue eyed man looked at his love intently.
"Baby..."
Nervousness seeped thrpugh his voice as he began to fidget with a mysterious item in his pocket.
"Yes?"
She answered obliviously, smiling her usual smile at the love of her life. She took in a the breath-taking man before her, his tossled auburn hair that she loved to run her fingers through, bright robin's egg blue eyes that she never got enough of, strong arms that she always felt safe in. Everything about him was perfect.
He took her hand in his, she looked into his eyes questionably;wishing for just a moment, she could read his curious thoughts-alas, no such luck.
"Mi dulcenia, you and I have been to- no that's not it-umm..love, I have loved you since the-grr..."
She couldn't help but smile at his stumbling and kissed him softly on the cheek, causing him to grin like a chesthire cat. With her silent encouragement, he countinued his declaration.
"Babe, I love you-I love you with all my heart. The way you make me feel is incredible and I have never felt this way about anyone before..."
She looked at him curiously.Wondering what thought he was trying to convey. She may be smart in her own right, but when it came down to the ways of the heart-she was clueless.
Because of his fidgeting with the item in his pocket, her attention was caught and she stared at him with a mixture of excitement and curiousity on her child-like features.
"My love, my life, my sunshine...what I'm trying to say is..."
He pulled out the mysterious item from his jeans' pocket, got on one knee before her, with a nervous smile playing on his lips. He was terrified to know her answer. He couldn't bare to hear the voice f rejection from her lips; to know that he wouldn't be able to spend the rest of their life together; to know that she didn't love him the way he loved her.
"...Will you marry me...?"
He eyes widened as he opened the ring box to reveal the most beautiful ring he ever saw: it was simple, with a gold band with a heart shaped diamond in the middle. I t was beautifully perfect, no words could describe how happy she was or how she loved him so.
Her silence scared him, it left him questioning what to do next. Should heremain kneeling? Or get up and attempt to not cry?
Not even a second later, he was tackled to the floor by his beloved, who was hugging him tightly, with the biggest happiest smiles that ever graced her lips. She kissed him passionately before looking into his eyes affectionately. She took in a deep breath, and uttered the most beautiful word he ever heard.
