Unexpected

Todays the Day

*Natalie POV*
Wow. Today is the day. Today is the day I've been waiting years for.

I roll over to other side of my bed to check my phone. 4 twitter notifications from Jacob Whitesides, 10 text messages, and 3 snapchats.

*Jacob Whitesides: Can't wait for my show in Chicago today! One of my favorite cities!*

*Jacob Whitesides: Wow I'm hungry.*

*Jacob Whitesides: Who am I seeing today??*

*Jacob Whitesides: Maybe ill meet that special girl today😏.*

I notice that I have the worlds biggest grin on my face. I know that I have like no chance with Jacob, so many pretty girls attend his shows, Im nothing special, but I'm okay with that.

I decide to check my messages. They are all from my friend Leah, who is coming with me to meet Jacob today. Shes super excited to meet him but she isn't really that big of a fan. She is mostly just coming to support me.

*Leah💗: Hey!! R U excited for today? What time are you coming to pick me up?*

*Me: Well its 11 am now. It starts at 7:00. And its a 30 minute drive soo at about 2:00? then we'll have time to eat lunch and just hang out there, if you want!*

*Leah💗: Sounds perf. See you soon. Love you.*

Leah knows I love her too so I don't even have to text her back.

I get out of bed and walk straight over to the bathroom, that's connected to my room. I hop in the shower and make sure I wash my hair super well and make sure to scrub my skin extra hard to make sure I smell really good for today.

I walk into to my closet and aimlessly walk around trying to think of something to wear.

Ah- Hah!

Black high wasted shorts and a flowey (i dont know if thats a word) off white, lace, tang top, crop top.

ugh shoes

I just go with simple, black converse.

Now for my hair and make up

I decide to wand my long brown hair into beach waves. And cover my tan brown skin with foundation, powder, mascara, eye shadow. And of course fill in my eyebrows because they always have to be on fleek.
I know it sounds like a lot of make up but I promise its super subtle and natural.

I check the clock, its 1:30! I need to hurry it up. I pack a bag with sweats and a baggy T for the ride home. I also bring my make up and wand and gum, my portable charger, and some perfume from PINK.

I run down the stairs to make myself some breakfast even though I barely have an appetite from being so excited.

My mom is sitting on her computer and talking on the phone, business, of course.

"Wheres dad?" I ask my mom

"At your brothers football practice, why?"

"Just wondering. Im leaving to go pick up leah for the Jacob concert tonight. I wont be back until late so don't wait up for me. Wish me luck." I say, beginning to trail off

"No need to wish you luck. I know he'll love you with that beautiful little face and that amazing personality of yours. Love you, Bye"

"Awh mom. Love you more, bye." I sorta yell, whilst walking out of the door and into the garage.

*Me: On my way!*

*Leah💗: Im ready!*

I lock my phone, set it down, and back out of the drive way.

Today is going to be great.
