This is a short story I wrote, I hope you like it, and more will be on the way.

THE UNFORGIVEN AND NOT FORGOTTEN

There is a boy in the room, around 14, 15 years old. He glances around and notices a girl slouched, crying in a corner. He steadily approached her.

"Why are you crying?" The boy asked the girl. Her green eyes, with gold flecks darted up at him.

"There is no reason, Jason." The girl mutters.

"There is a reason. I'm your friend. Tell me..?" Jason asked.

"I'm crying because there is no way out. The world is a dark place and I deserve to die," The girl weeps.

Jason puts his arm around the girl and comforts her.

He tells her how it will all be okay.

He tells her that he'll kill the boy who did this. He says she is too amazing to be crying.

Then he says one thing that makes her gasp.

He says the boy who did this should be forgiven.

"Why?" The girl asks.

"Because, then he will be happy before I need to hurt him." Jason sighed.

"NO. You will not hurt him. He was everything to me and you cannot change that I love him." The girl yelled.

"Of course." He replied.

"What? Why'd you give up so easy?" She  stared.

"Because if you love him, I will not hurt him, just to make you happy. Because you are my friend and this is not my business." Jason said, and walked away.

The young man walked and the girl followed.

She chased him through the rain.

Through the hail and the packs of students rushing in the hallways.

She catches up to him, and the girl says,

"Some people forgive and forget. Some people forgive and do not forget. I know, I believe, that he is neither. He is unforgiven and not forgotten."

That girl is smart, she never forgave or forgot that boy who made her cry, yet she is happier now.

Just ask her.

She's my best friend.
