Ruler and Pride.

The alliance

Lets start at the beginning, the fairies of the forest (i'm more so talking about the ruler). Also the reason im using ruler instead of 'King' or 'Queen' is because the mushroom fairy (the ruler) is Non-binary (they don't identify as male or female, or they use all genders pronouns) in this case they don't identify as male or female so they use they/them pronouns. Anyway enough with the ruler, so the Mushroom fairy decided to form and alliance with the humans!

"Hello welcome, today is a new day a new time, with that i'm going to start an alliance with the Humans!"

There was bunch of mixed feeling's in the crowd, but the ruler always kelp the feeling and opinions of the subjects. They always kept the opinions they felt if the people weren't being heard it was like they were trapped in a box and they couldn't get out.

"Calm down, calm down" yelled Sakura one of the rulers helpers.

Everyone went quiet as Amarta (the ruler/ Mushroom fairy) stands up and declares the alliance to start.

"I always consider your opinions you know that but this time its about the world seeing the fairies as people among them"

Again a lot of mixed feelings were shared including the helper Sakura (which is in fact Amarta's favourite of the helpers you'll find out more about that later).

Amarta stands up and leaves the thrown room with Sakura right behind them, most of the people were there to hear the huge announcement that needed to be made. As Amarta leaves the room Sakura touches her hand for a brief second but it had made Amarta feel alive inside. As they both left towards the kitchen to get something to eat Sakura ask's Amarta a question.

"Are you ok? You seem a bit tense" Sakura said that in the sweetest voice.

"I'm fine!" Amarta exclaimed moving away from Sakura.

Amarta had clearly not been fine considering she is always moving closer to Sakura at every possible moment.

"You're Clearly not 'just fine' Amarta I know what fine is for you its defiantly not this!" She exclaimed at Amarta.

"Im just stressed we have to keep this a secret, I have to meet with the human's leader today and honestly not excited I just- its just-" they stop themselves as a tear come down their rosy cheek.

"Hey, hey, hey, it's ok its hard on me too watching you face this alone but you're not alone you have me and I will be by your side until the day I die, if that's what it means to have you!" Sakura starts crying.

They're now siting there now on the floor crying holding each other. Sakura gets up off the floor letting go of Amarta.

"We now have to face this battle, its getting bit dark we should be going soon" Sakura said.

they looked outside at the big clocktower, it was the only clock in town, the clock had read 6:20 they had to be there at 7:00 o'clock to talk to the king and his queen. They heard footsteps coming closer to the kitchen door. They quickly let go of each others hands and spread apart from each other.

"They're in here I believe" a voice had said just outside the door.

The door suddenly burst's open with four men coming in, they started forming two lines on either side of the door waiting for Amarta to walk out the door. The men looked at Amarta as confused why they weren't coming through the lines of men.

"Not without Sakura she comes with me to make sure i don't go through this alone. She is now my Duchess and you will receive rules and orders from her disobey her you will be off the guard!" Amarta said that in the most confident voice she could after crying for twenty minutes.
