Love is real right or is that just a myth everyone believes. Well I know love isnt real or so I thought. Lets take a step back. I was in a relationship with this guy named Luke. We did everything together. I really thought I was in love with him but the one day I walked in on him cheating on me with Megan. She was one of my closest friends. She split up our whole friend group and so did Luke. Our friend group consisted of me, Maddie, Jake, Owen, Megan, Wyatt, Abbie, Sarah, Luke, Tommy, Ethan, and Emma. Now our friend group consist me, Maddie, Emma, Abbie, Jake, Owen, and Tommy. But Im honestly over that now. I just cant wait for summer break. Its just three weeks away. But I dont want junior year to come because a lot of people say its the hardest year. Im just so happy I dont have to ride the bus now because I finally have a car. Its Thursday night and I dont wanna get up for school tomorrow but I have to, well goodnight. I wake up to my annoying alarm clock but I hit snooze and roll back over. 20 mins later my mom comes in and tells me I need to get up or I will be late for school. I hurry and throw on the first shirt I see and the first pair of jeans, I folded the bottom of the jeans and threw on my air forces. I run a brush through short brown and blonde highlighted hair, and then did my eyeliner and put on mascara. I grab a chocolate chip muffin and run out of the door and get into my car. And drive to school. I walk in and walk over to my friends. And Megan is standing there. I look right at Megan and in a bitchy tone I say

Megan why are you over here

Megan looks at me and says Because I came here to apologize to everyone

Wow really apologize to everyone, It was my boyfriend that was cheating on me with her. I really cant believe her. She is such a little bitch.

Really get out of here with your bullshit Megan, no one buys it

Then she tells me Wow Kenzie how mature

I look at her and flip her off

Then I look at everyone else and start talking So, guys lets have a party my parents arent home this weekend

Jake gets all excited and yells Ill bring the beer!!

We all laugh and Maddie looks at him and rolls her eyes while saying Of, course you would

Abbie then says Ill be the sober driver

You guys can just stay the night so you dont have to drive anywhere I tell them

Emma says Ill ask and it will most likely be a yes

Megan then tells us Im going to get so drunk

I look at her with the biggest bitch face and tell her You arent even invited

Luke walks over and puts his arms around Megan, I look over and it makes me want to barf and cry at the same time.

Luke then says why isnt she

I looked at Luke and I cant tell if Im going to cry or scream at him.

I then tell him You know exactly why Luke, so just fuck off

Then the bell rings I look at them and tell him Alright well Im going to class, bye love you guys

I walk into bio and yell WHATUP MRS. KELLY

She laughs and looks at me and says Hey Kenzie, someone seems happy today!!

I laugh and tell her Duh, because its Friday, and I get to party

She just says That honestly doesnt surprise me

All I say to her is What can I say I like to party

Next thing you hear is the secretary over the speaker asking for you to come down to the office. I walk down to the office and walk in.

You say to her What could I have possibly done now Mrs. Johnson

She looks at me, laughs, and says Nothing this time Kenzie. Theres a new student that I think it would be good for you to show around the school and hopefully he could be an influence on you Kenzie.

I just laugh and tell her Mm well see about that

I start walking out and say Come on kid

The guy starts following me and stutters I-its Karl

All I say is Cool

We are walking down the hall when he tries to say something and I say to him Shut up dont speak I really dont wanna be doing this right now

Next thing I see Luke walking down the hall, so I stop and face toward Karl and get super close and say So Im having this party this weekend and I really want you to come over

Karl looked confused and stutters Uh s-sure

Luke passes you guys and I start walking again and tell Karl to walk faster. I stop at the cafeteria and tell him This is the stupid cafeteria

He looks at me and says What is your problem

look at him and say rudely Id rather be doing drugs and skipping class then be showing you around this shitty school

Karl just stares at me and then tells me Then go, Ill find my own way

I look away from Karl and I wanna walk away but for some reason I just cant. I ask Karl what class he has now.

He quietly says Biology 1

I stop walking With Mrs. Kelly?

He stops too Yeah

I should have seen this coming. All I say to him is Of, course you do

Karl walks around to look at me and says whats that supposed to mean

I look him straight into the eyes and say Of, course we have bio together, next thing I know you are going to be in all of my classes like a fucking love story. And I hate love stories

Karl just looks confused Why I think they are so sweet

I roll my eyes and say they are so fucking dumb

I show him the rest of school and show him where his classes are. The bell rings for lunch and I tell Karl I am going to lunch and you hear him say bye. I walk into the cafeteria and see Maddie and I excitedly walk over to her and ask if everyone is ready to go eat in the parking lot. Everyone one says yeah. We all walk out to the parking lot and see Owen with our pizza. We all go to our cars, which are all parked next to each other. We sit on top of them and eat our pizza. When lunch is over we can go home because school is from 7:30 am-1:10 pm. We all say bye and get into our cars and drive home. While I was driving home I see Karl walking on the side of the road. I start to slow down and he looks over at me but then I just speed off. I drive home and go inside and see a note on the counter saying

we left early, sorry, see you soon, we left money for food, we love you

great they left early I say out loud, I head upstairs to go to my room

And flop on my bed I look out the window and see that its finally sold and I see a boy walking up to the house and I look away. I turn back really fast and see that the boy is Karl. Karl Jacobs. Just what I needed
