The dancing partner

I have a lot of crushes in my life. But it never takes 2 weeks to change the name. Sorry , i have forgotten to introduce myself. I'm Y/N . I am studying psychology in Pune University. Though I'm from Kolkata and i have passed from a government affiliated school , I studied hard and get scholarship to persue my studies in Pune University.

It was tough for me to stay away from my parents as I love my family the most but I have always wanted to do something good for people. So , I decided to come here and study psychology so that I can help people from their psychological problems.

I can remember that everything was good . I made so many friends there. And the professors of our college were also very good . I was loving to go to university and then back to that small flat that belongs to my maternal uncle. He stays in abroad but that very day he knew that I'm coming Pune for studies, he requested me to stay in his flat and i agreed as I love mamu a lot .

It was the day of fresher's party of our university. I love dancing and for that reason , my friends requested me to perform a dance in fresher's party. I agreed. At first our head of the department , Mr. Tiwari sir came to the stage and said , " Students, good evening. It's great to see you here. Today some of you will perform in the stage and give treat to our eyes and ears by their talents. After that , we all will enjoy the party. But I have a twist for all of you. We have a special guest today and as per that person's request , here will be a dance competition. Whoever will be the winner , will a get a chance to dance with that person. So all the best 💗. And let's start the programme. "

After listening to his speech , my friends told me "see, you have to win this. We don't who the person is but we want you to be the winner. "
I told them that I will give my best. And then one by one all the participants of that dance competition started performing. I also performed so well. Honestly I love to enjoy the dance moves , the songs , the beats. I don't care about any competition.
Then the time comes for the results. The principal told us , " my dear students. Before I announce the results , I want to introduce our special guest. Though he doesn't need any introduce , I want to take his name by myself. So welcome ,none other than the versatile actor and dancer  SUMEDH MUDGALKAR

What!!!!!!!!! Sumedh..... The moment I heard his name , my pulse rate started increasing. Sumedh is my last crush and I really don't know why but unlikely other crushes , he is in my mind for last three years. Yes , you read right. He is the only one who has a great impact on me. I was really shocked seeing him there.
Sumedh mudgalkar came on the stage. He was wearing a black shirt with grey coloured jeans and a white blazer . I couldn't explain how much handsome he was looking. I couldn't even take off my eyes from him but suddenly my friend Risha touches my hand. I got back my senses. She asked me why I was crying. I didn't knew that I was crying in joy at that very moment I saw him. But I try to manage that by saying may be there was any irritation in my eyes...
Our principal asked sumedh to announce the results. I was concious then. That moment , I realised that it was so important for me to win this competition. I prayed to God . Sumedh said, " Hello everyone. I'm really blessed to come here and meet all of you. I had requested sir to arrange a dance competition. As you all know how much I love dancing , I watched all of them in the screen and i have decided that who will be my partner for today... "
This was enough . I was shocked. He watched me dancing ? OMG.
Sumedh  continued, " The name of the winner is .... Y/N ... "

Author's POV.......
Y/N - Am I hearing something wrong ? Did ... Did he just tell us my name as the winner ??!!!???
Risha - Y/N ... Congrats girl. You just nailed it. See , I told you , you will be the winner.
Sumedh- Miss Y/N , please come on the stage.
Y/N : OMG. He is calling me . What should I do ? ... Umm.. my brain is not working... (In mind )
Sumedh : please come to the stage miss...
Risha : Hey babe , what are you doing ? Go to the stage he is calling you .
Y /N : Yeah yeah . I'm going.
( In mind ) please don't act like a stupid in front of him Y/N. Please be calm. Take a deep breath. And go to the stage.
Sumedh: So , you are miss Y/N , right ?
Y/N : Yes.
Sumedh: As I told you before that whoever will win the competition , will be my dance partner for today.
Saying this , he bend his one leg and sat on the another and place his hands infront of Y/N .
Sumedh : so may I ?
Y/N was completely numb at that moment but she controlled her feelings and placed her hand on sumedh's hand .
Y/N: Yes ofcourse.
And then background music started and the lights focused on them and they started dancing.
Sumedh put his hand on Y/N's waist and pull her closer to him.Y/N was shivering as she felt his touches .
Sumedh :  Y/N , take it easy. Nothing happened. Calm down please .
And then he took the lead of the steps and as a trained dancer , Y/N followed his moves.
Both of them was so engrossed in each other's eyes that they didn't even realise when the music had stopped. The sound of uncountable claps helped them to come back to the reality.
Then everyone one came to take selfies with him. Y/N was standing in the corner of the stage .
Y/N: It is really a great experience to dance with him. I don't know how to express this feeling. But Alas! It's just for one day.

Is it just for one day ? Or is there any twist in Y/N's life ? Is there any chance that it ends up into a new chapter of their life ? To know more wait for the next part.
