Focus, Cadet!

Levi walking into the Mess Hall where all the cadets and higher-ups sat as they ate their breakfast. He made his usual cup of tea and sat down beside Hange and Erwin.

You staggered into the Mess Hall, your uniform on extremely messy, your hair curled up into knots and frizz balls, your eyes red from lack of sleep.

"Move Yeager!"

You shoved Eren out of his seat and he landed on the floor with a thud. You sat down on his seat and started eating his food. "Hey! Get your own!" He protested.

"Y/n why are you such a mess?" Mikasa asked.
"Oh. I didn't get any sleep last night at all." You huffed between bites.
"Ah, I see. You need to rest more." She said monotonously.
"Okay." You shrugged.

You sat and ate in silence with led sleepiness consume your body and before you could stop it you were drifting of to sleep in the middle of eating. Mikasa of course noticed and grabbed the tray away so your head landed on the table and not the food.

You sat there sleeping while the others finished off their breakfast.

You were again woken by someone last hand on your shoulder shaking you awake. You opened your eyes but kept you head down on the table. "Whoever is waking me up, you have five minutes to run or I'll rip your head off."

You heard shuffles but no one moved so you looked up and saw all your fellow cadets giving you eyes that said 'You've fucked up.' You looked over to the hand on your shoulder and watched as it led to Captain Levi.

Panic and excitement were fighting to take over you, but you just stared at the man towering over you. Even with his short height. "My office. Now." He spoke as he walked out the mess hall and to the direction of his office.

You turned back to the rest of your friends. "Why didn't you warn me!" You asked in a hushed tone. "There was no saving you." Connie said dramatically.

You got up from your chair and dreadfully started walking to Captains office.

You had joined the scout's regiment about a year ago. Since you had joined, you first absolutely hated Captain Levi. His personality pissed you right off, he treated everyone like a dick. But, then you idiotically fell for that same man you thought was a dick.

You never really tried to hide it from your friends but they knew better than to tell anyone else.

You snapped out of your thoughts as you reached the door. You hit the door lightly a few times and you got butterflies when Levi's voice ran through the door.

"Name and Business."
"Cadet Y/n L/n. U-uh you asked to see me."

The door opened and there stood Levi. He signalled you to walked in and you did, sitting down at a chair that sat on the other side of his desk. He sat down on his chair and he just looked at you for a moment, not saying a word.

"Why were u sleeping during breakfast?" He asked, showing no emotions.

"Um. Because I didn't get any last night." You shrugged.

"And you had to sleep during breakfast?"

"I didn't mean to I just nodded off." You rolled your eyes.

"Well, you need to watch that mouth of yours while you sleep." He said leaning forward.

"Pardon, sir?" You had confusion written all over your face.

"You were talking in your sleep. Luckily not everyone heard you but some did." He stared into your eyes not breaking eye contact.

"W-what did I say?" You asked, scared for the answer.

"Tch. Nothing really, you just moaned my name once or twice." He said nonchalantly.

Your stomach sank and your heart started to race in your chest. This had to be your worst nightmare, and who could say something like that without cracking even a tiny smile.

Your face had to have turned red from the utter embarrassment. "I'm very sorry Captain. I-it won't happen."

"Tch. Whatever."

You stood up and went to leave but Levi's voice stopped you in your tracks.
"Clean the mess hall. It better be spotless by lunch or they'll be consequences." He ordered.

You turned and sent him a nod before leaving the room. You practically ran down the hall to the mess room to scold all of your 'so-called friends' for letting you talk in your sleep.

You swinged the doors open and walked over to the table where your friends sat with an angry expression.

"Oh no.." Sasha breathed.
"I'm gonna murder each and every one of you!" You shout at them.

"What did we do?" Eren asked.
"Shut it, Yeager!" You gave him an angry look.

"You let me fall asleep during breakfast. Then you let me talk in my sleep, which btw, Captain Levi heard. And then you let me threaten him." You state.

"He heard. Haha." Connie spit everywhere as he burst out laughing.

"One more word out of you and I'll stitch your jaw shut." You threaten.

"Now I have to clean the whole mess hall and if it isn't spotless 'they'll be consequences' as Captain said." You said a little calmer.

"Good luck with that." Jean said as he patted your back.

They all walked out of the mess hall leaving you there alone to clean. You picked up the broom and started sweeping the floors, removing all the possible dust and dirt from then. You then grab a cloth a move from every inch of the room polishing and cleaning. You constantly check everything for dust and dirt and made sure absolutely every inch of the mess hall was spotless as Captain Levi requested.

Just as you were about to go look for Levi to get him to check your hard work the doors swung open and Captain Levi walked in with his emotionless face. He looked you straight in the eyes as he stepped closer and closer, sending tingles up every inch of your body with each step.
