2:13 i watched the clock sat there with my head rested on my arm, it felt like time was moving slower than usual i mean it always did whenever i was somewhere i didn't really want to be.
i'd been working part time at my aunts cafe on the corner of the high street for almost 4 months now, it was sort of my only source of income other than my twitch account but even that wasn't much.
i mean it was okay but being there at the same place at the same time for days on end just makes you feel exhausted
i was at university studying english i'd always had a passion for books and poetry and my mum had a bookstore in the centre town that i took odd jobs at and i did enjoy it a lot more than the cafe, the people seemed a lot more interesting and they usually had a lot to talk about. i liked the company and although there wasn't a lot of people who came in the ones who did were regulars and would usually make an effort to talk to me.
2:30 finally, i grabbed my bag from the coat rack, locked the doors of the cafe and headed to my car.
"will i'm home" i shouted
wilbur has been my bestfriend since we were like 3 years old, we moved in together 2 years ago as we had a lot in common: music, singing, streaming.
"there's pasta on the side for you" he answered back
i smiled to myself and put my bag and keys down before grabbing the food and heading up to my room
i turned on my pc and loaded up my stream for the day.
i really enjoyed streaming i felt comfortable and i had a lot more friends online who i really enjoyed talking to.

i smiled and put my phone down and waited to join karls discord call
"IM HERE IM HERE IM HERE" was all i heard when i joined the call the familiar voice through the muffled microphone made me grin and begin to laugh at him
"JOIN THEN JOIN THEN JOIN THEN"
"we are building a house to start our new life together okay?" i said to him
"sounds good" he giggled

"hey karl i think im going to head to sleep now"
"oh yeah that's fine, let's play again tomorrow?" he asked
