y/n : i guess i've always felt different than other people. "normal" people have always been boring to me. i could never really pin point what was so different about me, until recently. all throughout my life, whenever i touched someone i could feel their energy. if i hugged someone like my mom who's sweet and comforting, i would feel happy, as if i was in a warm bath with scented candles all around me. but if i touched someone like my dad who's scary and intimidating, i would feel this impending doom feeling as if i was falling from the top of a skyscraper. lately that feeling has gotten stronger. every time i touch someone, i see things, like their aura and the things they would bring into my life. the first time this happened was about two weeks ago. i was on a date with this guy and as soon as i got to the restaurant he went in for a hug and when i hugged him, and i saw this dark red presence about him and all of these bad images started flashing in my brain and i tried to stay for the rest of the date but i just kept getting that same impending doom feeling, like i was falling from the top of a skyscraper. in the middle of the date i couldn't handle it anymore and i just told him i had to leave. this has happened a few more times since then, well i guess anytime someone has touched me, i won't bore you with the details.
cordelia: wow, well you have been gifted with a second sight. i've experienced similar things in the past. have you noticed any other powers?
y/n: well, there is one other thing.
cordelia: well, tell me about it.
y/n: okay, so one morning i had an early class at my college with my least favorite professor and i got no sleep the night before so before class i went to grab a coffee. well when i got to class and started drinking my coffee and my professor told me to throw my coffee away because we weren't allowed to have food or drinks in his room. i asked him why because he had a coffee on his desk too. he basically didn't give me an explanation and just kept telling me to throw it way. i eventually did but i was furious. i kept hoping then when he took a sip of his coffee it would spill all over him. well, he went to go sit down at his desk and his coffee was right in front of him and i was staring at him and without him even touching it, it spilled all in his lap. i know it sounds awful but i thought it was so funny and i couldn't help think "did i do that?"
cordelia: well, you definitely have some ability. but, in your time here, you will learn how to control your abilities and use them for good.
as she was talking a blonde guy enters the room
cordelia: this is kyle, he'll show you to your room.
cordelia gave me a hug as i left and when she hugged me i saw this soft yellow aura around her and images of peaceful things flashed in my head. her presence was sweet and soft yet powerful. she's very intriguing

he lead me to my room where all of my stuff had already been unpacked and then left. there was this girl in there, i didn't even have to touch her and i felt how powerful her presence was.
