Red Strings (Shinso Hitoshi X Reader)

Chapter Three [Nuggets]

        "Why would you wanna hang around a villain like him? Did he brainwash you to get you to hang with him?" Alex would ask as his gaze turn back towards (Y/N). Shinso would stand up with a frown on his face, he hated the fact that he was accused of doing something that he didn't do. He was actually happy that (Y/N) was willing to be his friend out of the kindness of her heart, and Alex over here was trying to take that away from him.

        "Please just stop... I did no such thing. So please stop accusing me for something that I didn't even do" The lavender boy spoke quite calmly as his eyes pierced Alex's. (Y/N) would huff before she took ahold of Shinso's hand "I like being around Hitoshi. He's my long lost childhood friend... I think we're done with this conversation Alex" (Y/N) would soon lead Shinso out of the classroom and headed towards the cafeteria. As soon as the two left Alex stood there quite speechless, he was very upset that the girl was spending more time with Shinso instead of him.

'Am I being replaced?'

SHINSO'S POV

        My face would slightly heat up from the girl's hand holding onto mine as she lead me out of the classroom and headed towards the cafeteria. I smiled a little as I gazed towards her silky  (H/C) hair lightly bouncing as she walked. I would have to admit. She was quite beautiful. Soon enough I could feel my cheeks darken a little more.

        "Hitoshi you alright?" (Y/N) would turn over towards me as she noticed how red my face was getting. "Y-Yeah... I'm fine" I would answer before suddenly I felt her soft gently hands touch my cheek. I would try not to make any eye contact, but it was too late. I only felt even more embarrassed from her sudden touch... They were just kind and gentle, a part of me just didn't want her to pull away.

        "Hmm... You're starting to burn up. Do you want me to take you to the infirmary?" (Y/N) would soon place both of her hands on my cheeks as her eyes gaze upon mine. Her touch and  gaze only made me even heat up more than I already was. "N-No... I'm fine I swear, I'm not sick I promise" I would assure the girl as she lightly put her hands down to her side. "Alright if you say so. But if you don't feel too good, just let me know okay?" She would softly smile at me. Soon enough we arrived at the cafeteria and sat down at an empty table by the big window showing the view of outside. "Finally, we can eat... You have no idea how hungry I was... Fighting with Alex and Present Mic is tiring... But its all fun and game... Until I won!" (Y/N) would grin with triumph before taking out a small box of mochi and other assortments of goods.

        I would chuckle in amusement from the girl's short prideful moment. "You really didn't want to give up your seat did you?" I would carefully rest my head against the palm of my hand while my eyes gaze towards her. "I couldn't just give up my favorite spot now can I? Sometimes you have to fight for what you love... And that spot... I love that spot" (Y/N) began to laugh a little before she took a mochi piece and shoved it in my mouth out of surprise "Here have some!". "Hey- Hmph" My was muffled by the soft and sweet gooey-ish texture in my mouth. I would start chewing the mochi while I looked at her smiling like an idiot towards me...

        "Idiot... Warn me next time" I would quietly chuckled before swallowing the mochi. "Oh boo your fine Hitoshi" (Y/N) giggled before she started to eat some mochi as well.  As she would eat, her cheeks puffed up a little as if she was a chipmunk. I only smiled.

'Why do I oddly find her this cute?'

I soon became lost in thought. 'Stop it Hitoshi... You shouldn't be thinking of these things...' I began to mentally argue with myself before I heard my name call out to me.

"Hitoshi?"

        I suddenly blinked before looking over at the girl who waved her hand in front of me for my attention. I blinked in confusion for a moment, snapping back into reality. "Sorry... I zoned out" I would let out a quiet sigh before rubbing the back of my neck just a little anxious. "I was gonna say do you wanna come over at my house later after we get our chicken nuggies?" (Y/N) would quietly chuckle as she ran her fingers through her soft, silky, (H/C) hair.

A small smile would form on my lips as I began to nod "Sure... I don't mind". (Y/N) Smiled with enthusiasm "Alright. Today is gonna be fun" She would say as she munched on a strawberry mochi.

"Sadly Yuki has Soccer practice after school, so she can't hang. It'll just be the two of us... Just like old times I guess. Honestly I'm glad that we finally met after so long... I know this might sound strange but... I've always felt like I was missing something... Like a part of me was just missing... I think my old childhood friend, which is you. Was my missing piece" (Y/N) would look over at me with a wry like smile.

My cheeks would slightly flushed a bit as I rubbed the back of my neck while my eyes stared towards hers with a smile spread across my lips.

"Im just glad have my best friend back after all these years"

"Me too"

"Lets get this shit show on the road, shall we? Tonight we'll  watch some movies and anime, while eating nuggies"

"What kind of movies?"

"Chick flicks"

"Your right, this is gonna be a shit show"
