「 7:30 — DAYCARE CENTER . FACULTY ROOM 」

suna opened the door to the faculty
room and dropped the snacks in his hand down
on the table in front of his friends.

suna rintarou
"i don't get why they don't
put the vending machines in
the faculty room."

he grabbed a chair and sat himself
down next to atsumu.

lani shrugged, taking a sip of her sprite.

"maybe it's because of the fridge."

miya atsumu
"we don't even use the fridge though."

ari hummed, adjusting the posture
of their glasses.

sakai ari
"it's because none of us
can cook so we never
bring in homemade food."

suna rintarou
"i'm praying for our future
soulmates."

"well, mine can't cook and
i can't cook so what the fuck
are we supposed to do?"

hinata looked over at his girlfriend
and pouted at her words. lani looked at
him with a weird expression almost
asking 'what?'

hinata shouyou
"you see me as your soulmate?"

lani sighed patting his head,
making it painstakingly obvious to
him everyday that of course she
did.

just then, hinata's phone
vibrated from his pocket and he pulled
it out, revealing it to be someone
calling him.

everyone else stayed on their
phones, waiting until it was time to
welcome kids inside.

as soon as shouyou got off the
phone, he nudged his girlfriend's side
with his elbow and she hummed
looking at him.

as a few seconds went by with
them telepathically talking to each other
they simultaneously stood up.

"the new recruit is here,
me and sho are gonna go
greet them."

miya atsumu
"they're here already?"

ari raised a brow.

"they told you who it was?"

atsumu nodded with a smile,
teasingly pushing their glasses way too
far back for her liking.

"yeah, you?"

she rolled her eyes, fixing their
glasses once again.

"yup."

she answered, popping the 'p'.

suna had no idea what they were
talking about, but decided not to question
it, not really interested in knowing
the new recruit.

lani and shouyou left the
room together, being quick to grab
the new recruit.

"hey, suna, did ya ever find l/n a job?"

ari kicked his leg, knowing what
he was trying to do. atsumu winced, doing
the same back to them before focusing
back on suna.

suna scrunched his face
and shook his head.

"i wasn't really planning
on helping her."

suna rintarou
"i really just said that so she
would leave me alone."

atsumu rolled his eyes at suna's
words. he should have known that his
friend would have never actually
help you.

miya atsumu
"ya really are a dickhead."

suna could only shrug being full
aware of his own personality. perhaps
if he actually favored you he would
have, but it was pretty obvious you and
suna had heavy hatred between
each other.

the door opened once again
and everyone looked up waiting
to see the new recruit.

however, much to suna's surprise
he saw your face walk into the room clad
in the uniform given to the staff.

"fucking hell."

he looked over at ari and atsumu
who were practically trying to hide their
laughter as ari began to record the
whole situation.

it now clicked in his head what
everyone was up to.

you were happily laughing away with
shouyou and lani, but it quickly dropped
seeing the boy you despised the most
in this world.
