Abby's POV
"Girls, I have some important news," I said after breakfast. "Your mothers were involved in a boat accident and died."
The girls burst out crying immediately.
"But, I can become your guardian if you wish." I added. Now that the girls had no mothers, the thought of them being up for adoption for years was out of the question. "You will have the bedrooms you would be staying in anyway."
Everyone nodded, still crying. At least Maddie and Mackenzie still had each other, and Brooke and Paige have each other. They won't be alone. I'm sure that the girls are all devastated that their moms are gone, but they are happy that they will be sisters. I put Brooke in charge and went to sign the adoption papers.
When I came back, the girls were having a talk about their moms. They needed to let it all out. They were still crying, but not as hard. The adoption was successful, so they now each had lots of sisters.
Nia's POV:
I can't believe my mom is dead! But at least I get sisters this way. That's the only silver lining. I'm honestly in shock right now.
