So this is a poem I wrote for school and I have it copyrighted already so I decided why not.
If you could be better
Would you take that chance?
Would you smile at the world with confidence?
Would you live for that last dance?
Or would you cower in a corner?
Afraid of what you could be?
Because others try to convince you
That they don't see what you see.
If you had people believing in you
Would you make them proud?
By working hard in all you do
And pronouncing your love nice and loud.
Or would you push them away
Yelling that all you will do is fail?
Yet inside you are screaming for comfort,
But you don’t wish to bring them down as well.
IF, will see your final moments,
IF, will be your last thought,
IF, will mock you for an eternity
IF, has yet to be caught
Would you have taken those risks
If you knew IF has done this before?
IF has convinced many of not taking action.
IF has caused people to regret their lives even more.
