𝘛𝘸𝘰 ~ 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴

Start from the beginning

I was woken up by the light seeping through the crack in my tent and the sound of a guitar playing. I walked out too see Ember resting against a tree, eyes closed strumming a soft song on her guitar. I wasn't even aware she had one with her. She must have some sort of ender contraption too carry her things. She notices me approaching and stops standing upright.
"Morning Dream. I suggest we eat now and feed the horses before packing up and pushing forward." She speaks as she starts cooking some fish.
"Morning, sounds good too me. The Smp is probably 25 or so miles north east so we will have too go through the Forrest for a little bit." She nodded handing me the cooked cod. I eat it once it's cool and we start packing up our camp. I notice her putting the guitar in a blue-green satchel.
"Woah, that's ender gear. How'd you get your hands on that?" The only way to get that kind of gear was too kill endermen. They were tricky beasts too kill and very rare too find on the surface. They are common in mostly desert biomes due to how similar sandstone is to end stone.

"On one of my travelling trips. I went to a desert biome a few hundred miles east of here to find a temple. A village near by was being raided and I stopped to help them before I went into the temple. They gave me food for my travels and an ender chest. I used the materials to make it much more portable." I couldn't help but stare in awe at the creation. We only had one ender chest in the smp and we shared it together.
"Let's pack up shall we?" She asked gesturing to my belongings. I nodded quickly putting all my things into the saddle pouches on spirit. We both quickly packed up the tent, Ember opting to carry it on eclipse.

We were finally approaching the smp territory and I couldn't be happier.
"May I ask how far we are from your territory? As much as I love riding for ages it isn't the most comfortable with this amount of things." Ember chirped up from beside me.
"We're almost there, it's actually just up over that hill!" The excitement rose in my voice and a grin engulfed my face, spreading from ear to ear. I put my mask back up ready to greet my friends. Ember has had hers up for the majority of the ride but adjusts it upon hearing about our closeness.

We finally make it to the stables on the outskirts of the smp. Two figures came into view one familiar.
"George!" I called out rushing over him, leaving spirit loosely tied up the the fence. I quickly embraced him in a tight hug. When we finally broke apart I turned to the man beside him.

I watch the encounter silently observing the trio. I assumed the other man was sapnap but dream didn't appear to go and great him so I stayed somewhat on guard.
"I'm Callahan, pleasure to finally meet you dream." The unfamiliar man held out an arm to great the masked man.
"Nice too meet you as well. Speaking of new people their is someone I would like you both to meet!" Dream gestured in my direction, subtly asking me to join them. I hastily make my way towards the small group.
"Um-hi. I'm ember." I introduced myself unsure of what to say.
"I'm George! You can call me gogy. Nice to meet you Ember." He held his hand out for me to shake and I took it instantly. Something about him screamed warmth and welcoming that I couldn't ignore.
"Let's go introduce you too sapnap!" George said somewhat excitedly. We all nod and follow the brown haired man as he leads us to a burnt area in the woods with stones creating somewhat of a pit. Targets where all around the neighbouring trees. A man with a white bandana and black curtains is playing with some flint and steal.
"Sap! Looks who's back!" George says to the seemingly younger man. Sapnap's head shoots round and his eyes light up at the sight of his friend. They sharpen instantly when the see me in a somewhat hostile way.
"Who's this?" He asks unease evident in his voice.
"I'm Ember. It's a pleasure to meet you sapnap, I've heard great things." I hold my hand out for him to shake as a sign to show him I mean no harm. He takes it hesitantly.
"Good too see you sap." Dream says as he pulls the slightly shorter man into a bear hug.
"Come on let's go to the fire pit and get properly introduced to eachother!" Callahan suggests. We all silently agree following his lead.

Three more people have moved into the smp and the land was slowly but surely expanding. Houses had been built and the place became a community. A family. I was finding myself mostly in the company of sapnap or dream although I got on well with the rest of the smp. Sapnap and I spar together almost daily though I usually beat him. Dream and I just walk around the smp observing and talking.

"Bad! Come onnnn. I swore once? What's the issue?" He groaned as I joked again. Bad had always had a thing against swearing. Scared someone too young will overhear and think that it's okay to say things. Whenever anyone swore they were met with a swift 'language' from him.
"You know exactly why Em!" He grunted seemingly annoyed at my teasing.
"Hey guys, just to let you know someone appears to have come to town?" Sam spoke concern laced in his voice. I nodded quickly following him to the entrance of the dream smp.
"Hey! I wasn't actually gonna cause trouble. Please don't kick me out. I'm homeless at this point." A younger boy shouts loudly. The voice was oddly familiar to me. As soon as we were in close range the yelling halted.
"What's going on?" I asked looking to gogy.
"This child is trying to stay here after threatening to destroy this place like ten minutes ago!" Gogy raged throwing his hands in the air as he spoke.
"Hey! I'm not a child! I'm a big man!" The boy spoke.
"Chill child Jesus. Anyways how comes your-," the boy stepped into view, his blonde hair falling slightly into the familiar ocean blue eyes.
"Tommy?" I asked as my voice broke. The sight of him brought me too tears.
"Emmy?" He asked before running to me and engulfing me in a tight embrace. I let a few tears slip out as I hugged his now taller figure in return.
"Is anyone else confused as hell right now?" Ponk spoke looking over everyone.
"Sorry," I sniffled wiping my eyes. "Everyone, meet Tommy innit. Aka, my little brother." Dream suddenly gasped looking at both of us as we stood together.
"This was the little brother you mentioned." He spoke as if everything had clicked into place in his mind.
"Yeah, this lanky boi is my little brother." I laughed slightly as he shoved me gently.
"I take full ownership of what he does dream. Please let him stay?!" I asked my eyes pleading. He nodded slowly giving into my gaze.
"Fine. But if he does anything, you're responsible." I nod grinning as I drag Tommy on his tour. I couldn't believe I finally had my brother back!

After the sun finally set I took Tommy to my house in the woods. I had built a tree house that overlooked the smp up on the top of the hill I first came over when I joined the smp.
"So Tommy, how comes your homeless?" I could tell this question was going to hurt. But I couldn't help but wonder.
"He left. In the middle of the night like he made us do to you. He said you were better of learning to fend for yourself. We lived out in the south by the ocean for a while before settling down in a snow biome. When he left I knew I couldn't stay either. I wanted to go searching for him. Or you. But I didn't even know where I was. So I just left. And headed in a straight line all the way till I got here. I'm glad I did since I was almost out of supplies." His voice broke slightly but he coughed to try and hide it. I leant my head on his shoulder and rubbed my hand against his back to comfort him.
"Do you remember our song Tommy?" I asked getting up to get my guitar. Tommy gave me this guitar and I haven't even dared to try and get a new one. Only ever getting it fixed and patched up. He nodded slowly as I started strumming the beautiful melody.

I was wondering around the Forrest near Embers house making sure she was okay and that Tommy wasn't causing any trouble when a song filled my ears.
Her voice accompanied by the soft strumming of a guitar. I sat listening to the sweet melody letting myself be welcomed by its embrace. The song was comforting.

"Their will come a solider, who carries a nightly sword. He will tear your city down, o lei o lai o lord. He will tear your city down, o lei o lai o lord." She sung. The boy joined in as they sang together. His voice didn't match the beauty of hers but it somehow still carried the amount of emotion and passion. Clearly this was their song. It was a disaster yet it was still so beautiful. A beautiful disaster one might say.
