Ding! Ding! Ding!.... Theodore hated that sound. It wasn't an alarm clock. His baby sister had started playing with loud bell. She wanted to wake him up. He couldn't get angry with her though because she was so cute and plus....she was his sister. Theodore Simpson was a 13yr old kid who lived in Rivers State,Porthacourt, Nigeria. His father worked as a football coach and his mother was a director in a booming company. His dad and mom never got along and that got him worried. They normally quarrelled. Theodore would wake up early to prepare breakfast for the whole family (with the exception of his mother: Because she always claimed work). Theodore was always late to school. Why? He was always doing his mother's chores. "Since you're not always at home, busy with work and delaying Theodore?. Why don't we get a maid to help?" His father would say. "No" Theodore's mother would retort. "Oh.... you want to bring in a mistress huh?.... not in my house!" "Are you deaf or dumb? I'm not bringing in a mistress but a MAID. Besides, who are you to say no?. I'm the man of this house"Mr Simpson would say again. "Oh.... then if you're the Man of the house,why don't you support in the family upkeep?. I'm the one who does most of the work. Think that pesky little job of yours can do anything?. Get a real job,then you can talk to me.....a common coach of a street club." She said. And that was it. Mr.Simpson couldn't say anything out of embarrastment. Theodore sometimes wondered why they got married in the first place. Today was the same thing again. He hurried to make it to school after taking care of his baby sister.
Now if there was one thing with Theodore,he hated public transportation or anything mode of transportation that didn't involve legs. He preferred to RUN to his destination. When he runs,it feels like the world is in slow motion. He doesn't understand it but he just keeps on running. The funny thing is that even with all that,he always goes late to school. Something would always distract him. But today was a li'l bit different.
