"Ako rin eh, related sa work." She volunteered the information since he didn't ask. "Meron kasi akong bagong product na ii-endorse nag shoot kami ng CF." She said as she flipped her newly-dyed reddish brown hair. Mas maganda ang buhok ni Alexa. Alexander thought and smiled at his thoughts. "Anong nginingiti-ngiti mo dyan?" Lia flirtatiously asked.
"Wala. May naalala lang akong babae." He replied and Lia smiled inwardly. Sabi ko na cleavage lang talaga katapat mo. She whispered to herself. "So you made it big, huh?" Alexander inquired and she smiled coyly at him.
"Not really, but offers are really coming in droves." She lied hoping to raise his curiosity.
"Good for you." Alexander said glancing at his watch again and Lia felt her anger surface. Anong gusto nitong palabasin na di sya interesado sa akin? She angrily thought as she tried to capture Alexander's gaze.
"Alex..."
"Mauna na ako." Alexander said as he stood up.
"Wait, Alex." Lia said as she grabbed his hand. "Bakit ka ba nagmamadali?" She breathlessly asked as she pulled him to sit back down. "I have been thinking about you these past few days. I might have it all - money, fortune, fame but I feel so lonely being at the top." She whispered as she covered his hand with hers. She smiled triumphantly when he did not make an effort to take his hand back. Akin ka pa rin, Alexander. Pagmamay-ari pa rin kita.
"Lia, para saan ba yung nanay mo kung nalulungkot ka? Pwede kayong mag videoke o mag-shopping buong araw para mawala yang lungkot mo." Alexander replied and Lia 's jaw nearly dropped. She immediately recovered and smiled at him again.
"Siyempre iba pa rin yung may kasama ka pag gabi." She said giggling. Alexander extracted his hand from under hers and pulled some paper napkins from the tabletop dispenser to wipe his hand with. Lia narrowed her eyes at him but he ignored her.
"Eh di wag mo munang pauwiin, dun mo sa condo mo patulugin. Tapos ang problema mo." He said and Lia opened her mouth in disbelief. Ang kapal talaga ng mukha ng lalaking to! She wanted to scream as she withdrew her hand from on top of the table and fumbled through her bag for her cigarettes. Alexander watched her with bored eyes and Lia's blood boiled.
"So, what have you been doing lately?" She asked, her smile back in place.
I have been aching to do your sister. Alexander's mind taunted and he nearly laughed aloud. "Things." He said instead as a picture of a snappy, sexy Alexa floated inside his head. Lia stared at him and decided to change tactics.
"Worried na worried ako dahil nag fi-fail ang health ni Dad and being the eldest daughter, binigay nya sa akin ang responsibility ng mga kumpanya." She said as she tried to look forlorn, putting her drama lessons to work.
"Really?" Alexander asked his brow arching.
"Oo, kaya nga. The pressure is too much for me." Lia pretended to wipe a tear from her face and tried to smile bravely at him. "Pero kakayanin ko naman to but I will need your help. Tsaka we should start seeing each other again since magkikita naman tayo araw-araw sa kumpanya." She said and Alexander's brow arched higher.
"Bakit yung papeles na pinagawa ni Atty. Carbonel says that he left everything to Alexa?" Alexander could not help but say and watched in utter fascination as Lia's whole façade slipped.
"Anong ibig mong sabihin ng everything?!" She shrieked standing up and a few people turned in their seats to look at her. Alexander's amused expression brought her back to reality and she sat back down. "Pinamana nya lahat kay Lianna?!" She hissed and Alexander nodded his head.
"He named her the executor of his wealth so yes, pinamana nya lahat kay Alexa." He happily replied and Lia gritted her teeth before she looked inquiringly at him.
