Weaknesses: ( He has lots of mood changes, even the slightest of things can set him off. He tends to act before he thinks things through and can be overly defensive of things people may not understand or aren't that important. Vanir can't go into very crowded places as he grew up going on long expeditions with his parents, but he also doesn't have the patience to be away from home for too long as he has Aslan and Tan who can't fight for themselves that well yet. Aslan can't even really walk all too well yet, after all! He's overly sensitive to people's emotions and well beings even if he likes to be alone, so he knows when people are being truthful or are lying about something. )
Personality: ( Vanir can change his mood really quick, but usually he's very quiet as he's used to just being in the wild. He gets very handsy and touchy around people unconsciously and his love language is physical touch, but he also gets uncomfortable after someone touching him for long periods of time. He's loyal and over protective but he won't hesitate to sacrifice someone if it means the safety of him and his family, although he regrets it right after and mourns their death. He's very sympathetic towards animals and people, especially if they're on the younger side since he figures that adult humans can handle themselves. He has abandonment issues and hates being alone, but if he's around too many people at a time or for a long period of time he'll get pretty anxious even if he likes them. )
Dislikes: ( Sea food, mushrooms, poisonous monsters, someone not knowing how to protect themselves, long expeditions, his family getting hurt, alcohol, drugs, old men, pedophiles )

Where the rp takes place: ( Arklin )
Backstory: ( The 'new world', Arklin was found roughly 30 years ago. His parents were hunters as well and tracked down huge monsters since they were from the old world, and although it was only recently discovered they already built a huge city where he resides with his two kids. His parents on their last voyage found the baby dragon which he named squid, and gave it to him to keep. To help discover the world he was born on he faced many dangers, him along with the other hunters, and he's lost many friends. His kids aren't actually his, he took them over when his two friends passed away on an expedition, Aslan he recently got, a year ago. While Tan he adopted him when the kid was only 3. He's made a promise to protect and raise the kids like his own, as he himself is an orphan. )
•Scenarios•
Scenario 1: A journey to the new world wasn't the easiest thing in the world, to get there you would need to sail across the sea for roughly 2 or 3 months depending on the wind and the currents; not to mention the sea monsters lurking to get another meal. Once you got to Arklin it wasn't even guaranteed for you to be safe, though luckily for new arrivals they commission one of the hunters in the guild to look after them, and luckily for you, you got a rank S hunter. Apparently there's only 5 in the guild at the moment. Back to present time, on the way around the lands to get to the main city your group was attacked by a large monster with antlers popping out of its knuckles like claws and scrawny limbs that were longer than you were tall. You, weaponless, were running from the monster with all your might when you came across a man with white hair and a toddler strapped on to his back and a kid at his side. Upon noticing you, he gave the toddler to the older kid and ushered them to hide before rushing off towards you without even drawing his weapon. He held on to something in his hand before shooting it off towards a branch, when he hit it with a grapple that cut through it and latched on to the thick branch, he wrapped a hand around your waist before smoke emitted all around you to cover both of you up.
You both swung and landed next to the kids who were hiding in a bush some distance away from the monster who went fleeing- or most likely to look for you both, though in the complete opposite direction. The smell from the smoke seemed to disrupt the monsters senses. You..?
