Poem: You Will, Won't You?

I wait for you by the riverside
A small smile lingering on my lips
With just the silences of gushing water
And song of the evening birds
With the setting sun
Painting the sky with ombre streaks
I wait for you with hope
Trying to vanquish my melancholy
You'll be here soon and we'll chatter away to glory
For you're my one true friend, I know you understand me
We'll spend the entire time
In this nature's paradise
Just you and me
And our friendship
That's enough light to light my world

Don't worry my fears aren't deep
I'm pretty normal with an ordinary reality
I don't expect much, just be with me
And after today I'm sure, you'd be right next to me
Well isn't that why you're my true friend?
I'll be for you too
I'll try my best to be a true friend for you
Just some more time and you'll come
Just some more time and I won't be alone anymore!
You will, won't you?
